PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I know I'm off topic....but your post reminded me of a very good Red Scouse mate who has seen his arse this week.
"No I didn't watch the Final ..I had other things to do"
Lol.
Well he didn'tdo a Treble,...whatever he was doin,la
BLUE ARMY!
To be fair, BBC2 did have a three hour Barry Manilow tribute night on last Saturday. :-)

I reckon Peter Reid was in on it as well. In fact I think a fair few were, but one fall guy.

In reverse I read Vinny Jones autobiography & Dave Bassett used to send Sunday league players to Norway & pretend they were Wimbledon players. Jones did so well that he came back & signed for Wimbledon.

Now we’ve established there is no time limit we could have a field day trawling through autobiographies to find illegal payments.
And maybe we could investigate the fraudulent behaviour alluded to in Coolmore's 99 questions while we're at it.

To me they should have an asterisk next to every European success they have had since Heysel, they should never have been able to play in any European cup competition since
Anybody good at photoshopping this onto a football shirt?

A United fan just said something about state owned, 115 charges and dirty oil money. They were well on their way to completing the City bingo card and didn't like it when I responded, 'You seem angry, I recommend you take deep breaths, and count to three trophies for at least 93.20 minutes.'

Everton's hearing is in October apparently and they were charged after us.

The bit I don’t like is suggestions that if Everton are found guilty, then other relegated clubs may/will come after them for compensation.

If that happens, and the clubs are successful, I don’t want to think what dippers/scum/arse will think they could get from us [emoji15]

I'm thinking of what happens when reality then slaps them in the face :)

What about when we are cleared, could we go after the dippers rags and arse for damages. We wont be could we

If they have not broken the law but merely breached the rules of the PL then I would assume that all clubs have signed up to bearing by the decision of the panel set up by the PL.
If Everton or others feel , if they have been found guilty , that the penalty is disproportionate I would assume they appeal or take any other action against the PL.

Would assume its the same with us.

That's what I thought. Everyone is simple, a case they've admitted to, evidence is there.
City's by comparison is an allegation with no real proof. More a stab in the dark.
The way the charges against us were presented and published suggests this is all about negative/destructive PR. The charges and process are the punishment, the allegations will fall away but our rivals didn’t for one moment imagine we’d fight back and win the pure treble. They’ve shot themselves right through the foot. Fucking idiots.

In days gone by City couldn't match the spending power of the rags.
That was ok, we were 'ickle City' back then and posed no real threat.
The only time that we had a chance to show them who we were, was in derby matches and those matches were highlights of our season.
We were mocked and belittled by them, but in those derby matches we had a chance to lay a glove and bruise their arrogant egos, which brought immense satisfaction when we won. That was all we had.
CIty had a youth team which occasionally yielded a gem of a player and quite an astute scouting network which found talents too.
When the rags heard of such players we had, or were looking to buy they would swoop in, vulture like, to steal them away from us.
They could do this because they had more money than we did, had won more trophies and were perceived as being the bigger club.
This has proved to be their downfall, at least in part.
"Ooh City have an eye on so and so have they? Well we'll put a stop to that!"
The rags used every trick in the book to take players to the dark side, inducements ( some may say bribes), better contracts. Wilson and Berbatov were notable examples.
Where the rags got their information as to who we were after who knows? Spies in our camp perhaps?
Anyway, we got lucky, a smart new stadium, money and a strategy. Players actually chose to come to City rather than the rags, Sergio, David and others could see where the future lay and it wasn't at that murky swamp.
We were sooo lucky it was unreal.
Bobby knitted everything together, refused to be overawed by the GPC and tore down their outrageous banner. The rags were furious!
City were on the up now and we had to be stopped, but how?
Pep ultimately arrived.
Rags (and dippers) making sure that we didn't get players we were after by using previously mentioned tactics. Slabhead, Sanchez and Fred all lured away by the rags coin (that turned out well!), and van Dyck to the dippers. ( How only the dippers were found guilty of profiting from accessing our database I do not know!)
FFP. Accusations UEFA Der Spiegl (more hacking) overvalued sponsorships (erm Audi anyone?!)
Mourinho, another failure in the rags quest to try and get back to the summit of football (Other notable failures include Pogbad and PR7).,
More dubious accusations now from the P/L.
Winning the chumps league, the treble, has put City at the top of the football pyramid now and we aren't going anywhere!

P.S. If City hadn't challenged and broken that cosy little clique, (rags, dips, arse) we would be a lot further along the road to Americanisation of the beautiful game and what true football fan wants that?
