PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Pundits associating our charges with Everton & Chelsea nd salivating at the outcome of their punishments are going to be disapponted , these two clubs misdemeanors appear to be quite straight forward compared to the bucket of worms the Premier league are attempting to open with our football club.
They are accusing multi-national companies of false accounting , accounts that must have been verified down the years by HMRC and chartered accountants , the Premier league investigation into the alleged charges will take years , each individual charge will be disputed and robustly defended by the greatest legal minds around , in the end the Premier league will have to save face with their masters the red 'istree clubs and ask us to take a "pinch" maybe a fine or a points deduction.
We did it for UEFA a few years ago to smooth things over but i really do not think Khaldoon is going to accept any censure this time , its a case of put up or shut up and f*ck the 'istree clubs.
If we accept a points deduction then it’s as good as admitting it, and will allow rival clubs to stick with the “we cheated” brand. If we’ve done nothing wrong, fight it all the way.

Eamonn Sweeney, City living in his head rent free, he's like a drunk walking along Ballymun Road in the 60s and 70s on his way to score in the high rise flats/tenements. Fancy having to live with yourself with that negativity flying thtough your mind. I will say a prayer for him if I ever go to church again.;-)
Ballymun folk wouldn't tolerate that fake **** even the red ones!!

I'm sure the Mancini payments are one of the charges.
If I'm right and you are too then maybe it's a false accounting charge rather than an FFP one.
I'm probably wrong : )
I think they are, but I’m not sure. It’s not worth fretting about as none of us actually know what’s happening nor when we’ll be cleared.

What did Luton do years ago to get deducted 30 points?

Plastic pitch, scraps with Millwall, ban on away supporters, David Pleat river dancing across Maine Road, Eric making jokes about Elton?

Still blowing hot air with the city witch hunt.

We know it’s over, they know it’s over, all that is left is how it’s presented by the league and the media.

Expect plenty of innuendos with little substance.

You don’t come at Khaldoon nor Mansour with little more than hearsay and a few spliced emails. These people don’t play the same game as the rest. They invent it and by shear financial and political might can and will change how the wind blows.

3 years to bring a case forward?????

115 charges and most are the same charge over and over again.

No whistleblowers because no fraudulent activity has taken place but rather legal accounting practices. No laws broken or we would have HMRCH and the police raiding offices.

No no no, this is not about fairness, it’s about keeping inequality and certain businesses winning and making money for their shareholders in the great USA.

The smear campaign has been won but thankfully City have managed to win on the pitch and succeed off the pitch.

It was never a serious case. A ruling will most probably never see the light of day.

City fans, as you were, enjoy the ride and stand proud and sing loud…Old Trafford is falling down -:)

If their smear campaign and 115 charges were complicit in us winning the treble and we are exonerated of any wrong doing, what the fuck are they gonna try next.
They've failed to get a rich sheikh, falling further behind on and off the pitch.
They might at some point have to start making sound investments.
Don't see them winning a title in the next 10 years. Scum.

I know it's simplifying things but in any court proceedings arent we likely to produce rebuttal witnesses to corroborate our side of the facts against PL accusations of malfeasance?

Those witnesses will be high ranking company executives of both MCFC and our multi national sponsors, some of royal background no doubt, maybe top execs from PWC and other top accountancy firms, all with impeccable business credentials, moraly robust and ethically cleaner than a nuns vestments.

Are the PL really going to counter with, "They're all liars"?

Which in effect is what they'll have to do to prove our accounts were falsified.
It seems an unsurmountable task from what we know currently for any advocate even with a civil burden of proof.

They’ve got nothing to counter our witnesses. That not denial or bias, but how are they going to counter head of staff at the likes of Etihad and Etisalat? It isn’t happening.

It’s hardly unknown for high ranking executives and members of royal families to lie through their teeth but a coordinated cover up across so many companies and countries without any significant evidence or whistleblowers emerging seems highly unlikely and impossible to prove.

They then push forward with a super league which the likes of United and Liverpool would be controlling stake holders. Mansour and Khaldoon rarely get stuff wrong, however the failed attempt at jumping into bed with teams that play in red plus Madrid and Barcelona after the sabotage they have tried to do to our club to then join in with a super league was a big mistake. It was no coincidence both the Glazers and Fenway Sport organised something like a £600 million solidarity payment to be awarded to themselves for joining. Would have wiped out a decent amount of debt if that happened. No wonder both clubs were up for sale after that.

If the 115 charges get put to bed the super league will then be back on the agenda. It happened after the Uefa case collapsed. It’s no coincidence there have been rumblings again about it the last month or so.
