How the PL can let a club spend over a billion in transfers and wages whilst being hundreds of millions in debt and not be in breach of FFP is beyond me.

But what if as you say there are no basis for these charges that nobody has seen? I'm no lawyer but can you just make stuff up without any comeback?

They were obliged to start an investigation once UEFA did as the two regulations are linked. I suspect fear of losing their honey pot with pressure from the other PL clubs and a potential independent panel drove the 115 charges.

Every succesful club are hated by many , Bayern,Real , Barca , Juventus , PSG and other clubs who dominate their domestic leagues are hated by their competitors , we are hated because of our success in England , the Rags and Dippers were despised by many when they dominated included ourselves, we loved nothing more than stuffing the Rags on derby day.
Success breeds contempt , but the hate for our club has reached new heights , when certain clubs can force the league administrators to bring charges for off the field issues, it really is a sign of desperation and a last throw of the dice.

Someone the other day was telling me how good ffp because it made all clubs the same lol. It's ok to be a billion in debt with a falling down stadium because all clubs are working under the same rules. He was clearly brainwashed. Didnt matter what I said to him I was talking bullshit.

I believe we are innocent the thing that worries me is being innocent might not matter.
The pressure is building on the pl to do us. I cant see how the pl can do anything else. The fall out of City being innocent will be horrendous. I fear the pl will take the easy route and find us guilty. I dont trust the pl either way I think this might be the beginning of the end of football as we know it.

They are charges which we are required to answer. It’s not quite the same as an article saying we are cheats (although it amounts to the same thing). We will be contractually obliged to respond and therefore it won’t fall under the realm of defamation (is my guess).

we are already tarnished and have suffered massive damage to our reputation

Any talk of City delaying proceedings (which was the prevailing narrative in the media yesterday) is a complete red herring, as is the notion that City need time to prepare to defend these 115 charges. I expect the legal professionals we have engaged could do so in under a week, if require
