I’m actually pissing myself.
Another option would be to increase income. Have they not got a pet airline to help?

There is no guarantee it would 'only' be a 10 point deduction thoughHypothetically, what's the worse that could happen, if this or next season, Newcastle decided to do a PSG & go for broke in the transfer window, take the 10 point deduction, the resultant fine & any transfer ban?
What could the PL do beyond that?
It would be more than a 10 point deduction from the Premier League and, therefore, self-defeating.Hypothetically, what's the worse that could happen, if this or next season, Newcastle decided to do a PSG & go for broke in the transfer window, take the 10 point deduction, the resultant fine & any transfer ban?

How much more?It would be more than a 10 point deduction from the Premier League and, therefore, self-defeating.
How much more can they give? There is no guarantee it would 'only' be a 10 point deduction though
At the discretion of the independent panel... 10 points for Everton based on £20 million over permissable £115million.How much more?

So the points deduction is purely discretionary, & not mandated in PL rules? At the discretion of the independent panel... 10 points for Everton based on £20 million over permissable £115million.
It's subject to appeal but we'll see. Basically if Newcastle were a deliberate and blatant £100 mil over and, using Everton precedent, likely enough points deducted to ensure relegation
So they'd need to get 60 points to stay up, with a far superior squad for the following season? Not just ten points if they over spend to much it could be 20 points
