Daily Mail reassuring the red cartel pricks and the rest of the sheep.
I thought the rumour wasn't that it's already been dropped, only that they've opened dialogue with a view to potentially doing so?
I say let all the anti-City press talk all the big talk they like and tell City fans they know best, twitter journos too. Bookmark/screenshot it for posterity. Encourage them to commit to it far stronger than this tame effort(he's not said much really just that he's been told it hasn't happened... yet), if you're confident in the outcome enough.
I think we should stick to the narrative that the PL don't have much, if anything at all and even if it does get to a hearing, it will go City's way. If we turn out to be in the wrong, fair enough... but if they turn out to be the ones full of hot air(again), let the fun begin, when the time comes. Show no mercy, having more ammunition to mock them with, will just make it more fun.
Edit: Same goes for the doom-mongers on here that people are getting worked
up about. Wasn't there someone before the CAS hearing, that was arguing until he was blue in the face, that we were all being too naive(to the point of ridicule and insults) and City were definitely fucked?
Best thing to do is hold them to it when they force it too much, no need to be too personal or start putting words in peoples mouths though, just stick to the facts on what they said and let them hold it. Of course they can always create a new account or a sock account to carry it on at a later date when it suits them but the join date and debating style is normally a giveaway...
