Who the hell knows...I'm with you. Where did this 10 week estimate come from? Many have said 10 to 12 weeks. I don't care how "complicated" these issues are supposed to be, that seems like an awfully long time, especially since we're said to have irrefutable evidence...seems to me the Prem are being allowed to bombard us with an interminable amount of shit looking for anything imaginable to possibly stick. An effin' joke...

Think the 10 weeks was an estimate based on, insider knowledge of how long the lawyers, had booked time for the case, it could over run, but at the rate the PL evidence is getting ripped up it could end sooner, one thing for sure, the breaks for cuppas, will make sure the lawyers get paid the full amount.

12th August, there was an article in the Times by Ziegler and Lawton regarding the forthcoming start of the 115 hearing. Can't see any earlier reference to 10 weeks.

The hearing has been scheduled to last ten weeks, with the commission members expected to deliver their verdict at the start of 2025.

There were reports that a lot of the witnesses were going to be using video links, I would imagine a lot would be UAE based.

But 10 weeks seems a long time for this matter to be heard.

First, there was six weeks starting in November from Lawton (June):

Just put together from gossip, of course. Well intentioned maybe (maybe .....) but why people take things they say as gospel is a mystery to me.

You last quote could actually sum up the whole debacle around the Der Spiegel stories leading to 115.

The PL's full title, registered in law is,

THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION PREMIER LEAGUE LIMITED

That organisation, (THE FA) is seeking to undermine, diminish and possibly destroy everything that Pep has striven to achieve in the last nine years. In fact, everything he has devoted his professional life to accomplish, could be tarnished for ever by the 115/130 debacle. The idea that the same organisation could waltz along and offer him a job because they are so incompetent, despite St George's Park, the PL billions, the Wembley billions, they can not produce one single English candidate, is just beyond belief. That's unless they are prepared to drop all the charges, pay £115m compensation, approve all our rejected sponsorships and force the rags to give Ten Haag a 15 year contract, the FA can do the following....
