My guess is that the sad rags and dipper fans have lumped on.Just looked on Betfair to check that Liverpool at 13/10 are indeed the current favourites to win the league title. When checking relegation odds, found Liverpool @ 500/1 same as Arsenal. For some reason, Man City are 9/1 for relegation, around the same as Brentford, West Ham & Bournemouth. Do the bookmakers know something?
No surprise if they had.My guess is that the sad rags and dipper fans have lumped on.
There’s no way a bookies would keep us at 500/1 with the threat of relegation being there.Just looked on Betfair to check that Liverpool at 13/10 are indeed the current favourites to win the league title. If we were to get relegated and there was, say, £50k bet on us getting relegated across the country, they’d owe out £25m. There’s no way they’d take that chance, so they play safe and reduce the odds.

It is to make the bet look attractive to punters. In reality we canbt be 'relegated' as such as the Premier League cannot order the Championship to take us. We can only be expelled from the PL which is not what they offer.
Fair point. We can if they knock 50 points off us.
Still might not be enough. We can if they knock 50 points off us.
