PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Based upon how the club have sat on their hands for 2 summers and failed to improve us or at least to maintain us at our peak, it says to me that despite all the unfounded happy clapping over the charges, we are in the shit.
The sale of Alverez is telling in all this
If we think we have problems now, god help us in the years ahead

I agree that any January signing will be ridiculously expensive and the Cucurella negotiations prove your point that City will never pay over the odds.
However that was during the summer of 2022 and despite highlighting the obvious need, we still haven't bought a Left Back
Gvardiol was bought to play LB

He can play Left Back and so can Ake.

However neither are specialists and Liverpool's 1st goal yesterday was yet another originating from a diagonal long ball into space behind our left side.
Less of a problem when we dictate possession with Rodri in the team, but a huge problem this season

LB has been a problem for years and I can go as far back as Cliff Sear. A few names stand out of course, but going by what is expected of a modern day LB then I get to wonder how Paul Power would have fared in our Guardiola team.
I wasn't too happy when he left for Everton and winning a champions medal there, but City's constant chopping and changing of managers plus Swales ruining the club at the time didn't help. All that we are left with now is opinions.

The hotel will pay for itself irrespective of city and what comes of the charges and adding a football stand as part of the construction may not be a big deal in the grand design of things
I want to be wrong but all this development may not be an indicator of our innocence

Do not worry mate you are wrong, City making vast amounts of money, is not to pay a fine off, City reducing their wage bill, is not to do with relegation. If you look across Europe most of the big clubs are reducing or trying to reduce their wages, i think we can expect a change of rules there, but City making vast sums of money, would not you want to give a new manager a big start? regardless of when that comes, it is important to be prepared.
I do expect City to lose a couple of the charges, but a half time whip round of small change should cover that.

Bournemouths left back looks pretty decent, young lad, very attacking, kerkez a think his name is, PL proven too, scored at weekend too, also got an assist when they beat us

The January window will be the true indication of how the club feels in terms of 115.

If we don't back Pep to the hilt and bring in the players the team desperately needs that will be an indication that "irrefutable evidence" maybe be wildly inaccurate.

I hope we go out and show football and us fans that we intend to carry on our dominance and that this shocking run is just a temporary blip, the January market is notoriously difficult and will be expensive but that's the execs fault with holding back in the last two summer windows.

Not been following the thread closely so wondering if my theory that the players and staff have lost form due to an indication the 115 case is going badly and it’s likely sanctions will be severe?
Or is that bollox?
