PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

My favourite verse from my favourite poem:
“If you can dream and not make dreams your master
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same.
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools.
Or see the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop to mend them up with worn out tools.”
It strikes a chord of relevance to me anyway.
Mr Kipling may have been a City supporter.
”or being hated, don’t give way to hating”

Have to admit, don’t think I can agree to that one.

Hold on that’s the speech Mike Basset did

Yup, Mr Kipling wrote exceedingly good poems.. (one for my fellow Old Gits' Club members!)

City will play 4-4-fucking-2.

Well we would if we had a back-up striker.

As a lifetime older City fan now viewing games from the relative tranquility of Spain I certainly identify with all the aspects of Mr R Kiplings verses.

My whole football supporting life has been ruled by "All things in moderation, including moderation".

Had a conversation with some guy in Blackpool yesterday evening, noticing I had a City hat and scarf and badge on my coat, he proceeded,
Looks like You LOT have had it this season ,
Looks like it I said,
What do you put that down to,
We've got a lot of injuries this season,
Is that your excuse then,
It's fact mate I said,
What about the charges then,
I think we'll be ok I said,
There'll be fucking uproar if you get off.
Why's that
Well other teams have had points deducted ,
Why are we guilty then I said,
You must be ,they don't charge you for nothing ,
Have you not heard of Innocent till proved guilty, I said
I walked away at that point.

Paul Lakes equaliser in the FA Cup 1988 still irks them

A lot of opposition fans are certain that our drop off this season, and everything else that happens, is down to the charges.

Video comes out of Pep reacting to a fan after the cup final in May - he's lost the head as he knows the hearing isn't going well
