PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

either there is a leak or there isn't.
if there isn't a leak then we don't know about non compliance.
if there is a leak then significant people would know.
my money is on no leak and lots of people fibbing.
Non compliance is the easy guess after the media/PR battle during this and this CAS case.

Millwall with the police escort after being locked in for an hour, the streets full of broken glass, the last minute equaliser. Had the feeling if we’d nicked the winner, which we nearly did, nobody would have made it out alive
I was there that night, pretty scary, to say the least. One occasion that it was good to be locked in.

Here's how I think it'll go:

Sunday night: Ziegler, Keegan or Ornstin break the story that City have "got off" with most charges.
Monday 9-10am ish: City Statement announcing we have beat all charges.
Followed by a contradictory Premier League statement.
Sometime within the next week Masters resigns.

Tuesday Der Spiegel publish a story of more emails that if used City would have been found guilty.

I actually disagree , i think it will first come from PL and City first , since it's a big legal issue , just like how we were charged at the beginning , it was first announcement by PL
That makes no sense whatsoever ... Stick to eating a snake you Rag.

not sure its that easy a guess. we cooperated to a point with UEFA then stopped cooperating as we didn't trust them. the non-cooperation fine was reduced from 30m to 10m to reflect that. think thats a fair summary? could be wrong of course.

assuming we didn't stop complying this time around, whose to say that the IC won't say we cooperated sufficiently and were within our rights to cooperate at the level that we have. i'm sure we'd argue our corner pretty fiercely

don't think the IC give a monkeys about what the media think or about PR. again i don't know.

that's why i have some hope that if we have beaten the main charges then the non-cooperation will fail too.

I dont think your far off with that
We all no what's going to happen.
We will be cleared
That puppet for the cartel masters will quit before he's sacked.
We expose the league as a corrupt cartel protecting farce.
Then we sue all these cunts like sky sports and every journalist who has bad mouthed and rubbished our name .
Only thing that will make it better than when we win.
is if the club listen to the fans .lower ticket prices and give the heart of our club back to the proper working class hard up fans.
Fuck tourists.
Fuck money.
Our owners have got enough.
Win this ..make it a level playing field.
Even if that means another club spends more than we do and dominate .
Let Newcastle have a go at the top.
I don't care about winning things or been at the top.
I want my club back.
Get my ticket back under 700 quid so I can go again.
That's through principal not that I can't afford it
But I just want to go to city again and not be surrounded by twats with there cameras out asking me to move so I don't ruin the video.
I don't want a **** in a half n half scarf who paid over the odds sat near me.
I want to walk in the ground I see lads and girls I have been mates with from when I was 15on the kippax.
I want to see lads I know from all over .
City can do this.
But they need to act soon before it's too late

Lincoln rarely gets a mention.

I did all four of them on our tour of the base of the pyramid.

Grim but interesting and 'enjoyable' in a rather perverse way !!
It's mad to think how shit we were then.
Going to Stockport and macc were real lows for me.
And at that time the rags were at the top of the tree.
I felt we as fans stood together.
We all pulled as one.
In defiance against the rags who were laughing at us.
We stuck together.
The bond at that time between the fans and the club/players was incredible.
So different to now.
It feels like a life time ago.
Almost like we were watching a different game to what football has become.
They were some of the best days I've ever had as a city fan.
Even though we were really shit.
They were my really shit team.
I felt part of it.
Part of a connection with every blue in the ground.
I don't anymore

I think it’s all been a dream and masters awake then says fuck me I’ve just had a hell of a dream.

Definitely my best Days as a City fan. But take nothing away from the younger ones they have had an amazing time and long may that continue.

i think we'll all be a little disappointed if we're not completely exonerated.
yet simultaneously delighted if we're only guilty on the non-cooperation parts.

as an example, i was a little disappointed with united scoring in the 6-1 thrashing, yet simultaneously delighted.
The 6-3 was FAR more annoying. In fact it still annoys the shit out of me..

Sounds like a chancer as we’re only at the liability stage.
Potential punishment comes later.

Actually, we don't know that for certain do we? That was broken by The Lawyer and no-one ever contradicted or confirmed it, I don't think, but nobody really knows anything. If I was the PL or the club, I would be wanting to avoid the complete shit show the APT judgment became by not completely finalising the judgment in one hearing. Just a thought.

Another thought is that we still have no idea of the complete allegations. We know what some of them most likely are: funding of sponsorships, possibly the related party nature of sponsorships and fair values, Mancini, possibly Fordham, Toure and so on. But it's entirely possible the PL found some additional issues during their investigation of which we aren't aware. Unknown unknowns, if you will. So, while I am entirely confident on the most serious issues, it's absolutely possible that the PL may be able to prove to the satisfaction of the panel some of their less serious allegations about which we know little or nothing.

I suppose my point is nobody knows anything. It's best for us to have slightly lower expectations and be delighted with a more favourable outcome, than be expecting a completely favourable outcome and then be depressed about an outcome that is very satisfactory in the greater scheme of things, but less than perfect.
