PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It's like the **** is having a wet dream in public, what an arsehole.
The author of “The anatomy of Manchester United” (not a best seller) writing a one sided article. You can almost feel him salivating at our potential downfall.

No integrity, no shame, no spine (won’t respond to City fans on Twitter). Hope the moneys worth it.

Yes I know, we should ignore. He’s hardly writing for the Times. But no other set of fans are treated like this

Having heavy restrictions on spending and severely punishing any club not abiding by these rules makes it difficult for clubs outside of the established PL teams to improve on the pitch from owner investment, which helps said clubs to protect their status as a PL club and getting that sweet TV money. For a club like Palace (I just use them as an example, not pointing the finger to them in particular), its in their best interest that other clubs cant threaten their status as a PL club if they happen to get a rich owner. All clubs with owners that are not interested in investing significant money themselves and are happy with the money flow from just being a PL club will of course oppose anything that makes it harder for them to compete. Even if they are competing for something other than trophies, like mainly competing to stay up.
Absolutely right. Know a few palace fans who are just happy to see three poor teams doomed for bottom three so they are ok plus a decent cup run.

My mate's nephew's mate works for the club and has been asked to dig out the emergency chairs by Friday. Make of that what you will.

I don't know anyone inside the club and tend to ignore all those attention-seeking "pub bores" who pretend they know something (positive or negative) but post in such a cryptic disingenuous manner that it provides an automatic get-out-of-jail-free card if everything goes all tits up.

I'm starting to feel a bit left out.

Can someone help me here, I am at a meeting on Thursday which has 2 rags and 2 dippers at it, so I want to be prepared.

1. Did Liverpool get an allowance of £50m (when they were about to fail ffp) for stadium redesign costs for a stadium rebuild that never took place?

2. Did chelsea pass psr (which they would have failed by hundreds of millions) by selling not one but two hotels, to themselves? Did they then benefit by selling their own women’s team to, you guessed it, themselves?

3. Have arsenal benefitted for years under psr and ffp by getting hundreds of millions in interest free loans that shouldn’t be allowed?

4. Have the rags passed psr which allows £105m cumulative losses over 3 years by managing to lose £400m over 4? Were they given a £41m Covid allowance to pass 1 year psr that nobody else was allowed more than £1m for? In a subsequent year to enable them to pass psr were they given a £35m allowance for selling shares from the current part owners to the new current part owners?

5. Is it correct to say that liverpool chelsea arsenal the rags and the premier league are all squeaky clean but Manchester City are corrupt as fuck?

Anything I missed or get wrong please advise
Liverpool would also have failed ffp another time toonbut missed out on Europe so they weren't assessed

Yes, but, no other club has ruined his fucking life.

Swings and roundabouts, eh.

I wonder if it will be page 9596 when we started our slump. The news breaks and we cripple the greedy bastards who tried to suppress football for the sale of the big 4 and we rise like the Phoenix with the three heads of the PL on the block.
