The problem is, given the nature & scope of the charges I don't for 1 second believe it'll be simply black & white 'cleared/guilty'.

I expect we will be exonerated of the most severe charges around disguised investment, given the hurdles the PL would have had to jump through to convince the panel that ruling members of the UAE, major international companies et al had transpired in such a conspiracy.

I do however expect us to be found foul of other minor transgressions, around providing of information in line with the PL note book which will then surely involve a sanction, which could then be appealed - more time to go.

I'm no expert but I don't see anyway this ends cleanly & all parties get to move on.

I’m beginning to finally think we’ve been cleared of all the major charges.
There’s no source, there’s no proof, but over the last 24hrs I’ve never seen so many negative articles about ex City players leaving.
I reckon I’ve seen about 7 or 8 articles about different players leaving over the last 24hrs.
The tide has turned recently and this final round has me believing we’re gonna be alright.
Just my feeling : )

Speculation increases as we approach the end of March. If Pep was correct, we should hear this week because otherwise the announcement would run into the FA Cup game. You can see the narrative being set up already. The PL couldn’t afford to find us guilty. It would cause untold havoc and financial ruin.

So we’ll have been let off rather than have been found innocent.
‘Innocent’. There’s a word you won’t hear or see printed. I’d say even ‘Not Guilty’, would stick in the craw.
Guilt unproven will be the angle.

Part of me always wished that these were criminal proceedings as the presumption of innocence is embedded in a criminal trial.
This tribunal has never pretended to uphold this fundamental principle.

The damage is done. Innocent or not, the media portrayal will hardly change.

The week before it he said we were definitely innocent, then went to definitely guilty with the info being in the public domain, before then back to innocent again.
