Football is littered with players who have done great in one country but then failed in another. Not necessarily England, but it's included in that. No guarantee he'll be great (though he could be).

He scored twice in Euro 24, once when they beat the mighty Scotiand 5-1 and once when they got knocked out by Spain in the QFs

If the purpose is to provide the cartel an excuse to simultaneously undermine our achievements whilst giving themselves a get out of jail free card (ie it's not that we are absolute dogshit it's just that we cannot compete with cheating City) then the longer it goes unresolved the better it is for the witch-hunt instigators and supporting cast of the bought-and-paid-for shills that make up the client media.

Foden just won 4in a row, crowned prem league player of the year, scoring 27 goals in the season with his trademark shooting from the edge of the box. The City players would work it for that move. The amount of times he got to that position for England only for Bellingham & Saka to ignore him was infuriating. Not only that,what sort of coach doesn’t see it. The end result Phil labelled he does fuck all for England.

But he seems like a real confidence player to me. I think if he started really playing well for England and getting praise for it, it would probably take him to another level again, which is only good at City.

I get the feeling he's an emotional lad. Songs about his mother affected him quite a lot it seems. Of course, it's awful for anyone to hear but loads of players get abuse, it's just something you've got to brush off and not let it affect your form. I think under performing for England gets him down too, especially when he knows what he can do and he's used to winning things.

I just feel him doing well for England would also benefit his city form

I agree with all this, but if I think there’s a bit of room for a bit more from him when he was in positions he just didn’t produce his club form …….think he’s good enough that he could still have had an impact if he’d have found that club form…he missed a couple of chances he’d normally take with city etc….and just didn’t look like himself, but yes everything you said is valid.

I think even a lot of opposition fans have accepted the fact that the rules are not effective in doing what they’re supposed to do and that none of this is actually relevant…..yes there’s lots of mindless numpties who will sing that stuff all day long but whatever :)
