Khaldoon has spoken highly about Alison Brittain so maybe its a soft signal, who knows, anyways it looks like she will be re-appointed as Chair of the PL, it's Masters who we need to see the back of...

Has he spoken highly of her or did he name check her for speaking highly of Manchester City. I fail to see how the board & particularly herself is not responsible for the shit show. Charges were laid as soon as she sat in the chair & her role should have been to advise that laying 115 charges repeatedly for a few against the top club is lunacy. Some would say she had 1 job, she failed to even ensure the league operated lawfully or fairly.
Masters gets a lot of stick for his part in this buffoonery, Brittain very much deserves the same amount of stick surely?
Why mention these 3 teams?
Sky News has learnt that Dharmash Mistry, the Premier League's senior independent director, has in recent weeks been canvassing the top flight's 20 clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers, about their support for Alison Brittain.
Because Arsenal and Liverpool have probably leaked the story to SKY. Not a surprise for these two toxic twins. But the question is why has a damaging story about Brittain been leaked. As some have said she was praised by Khaldoon previously.
That’s the precise equation that the PL board ducked when approving the kitchen sink of charges. It’s now becoming a distinct possibility that this nonsense is going to run into 2026 before we even get an outcome - and then we still have appeals and possible sanction hearings. How can this be good for the game?
Totally agree.
The PL board must have been in agreement to proceed with the charges, and aware of the impact it would have.
I doubt the individual who sits on Sky's board, Mai Fyfield could hardly contain her enthusiasm for launching the charges either, as I seem to recall some of her comments being quite scathing towards City. Probably a dipper supporter as she appears to fit the profile - an opinionated **** !
The whole board is complicit, unless there were dissenters amongst who were out-voted ?
