PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

btw the charges came out 6th of Feb 2023.

how many days since then? 997

Saturday will be the 1000th day.

the decision will be out closer to 10000th day lol.
Exactly 1 week to go to "celebrate" Der Spiegel publishing the hacked emails in the first place that caused all of this. Happy 7th birthday in advance.

Khaldoon has spoken highly about Alison Brittain so maybe its a soft signal, who knows, anyways it looks like she will be re-appointed as Chair of the PL, it's Masters who we need to see the back of.

The best bit for us states...

"A judgement which is interpreted as favourable to Manchester City would inevitably apply pressure to senior Premier League officials..."

Why mention these 3 teams?

Sky News has learnt that Dharmash Mistry, the Premier League's senior independent director, has in recent weeks been canvassing the top flight's 20 clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers, about their support for Alison Brittain.

Has he spoken highly of her or did he name check her for speaking highly of Manchester City. I fail to see how the board & particularly herself is not responsible for the shit show. Charges were laid as soon as she sat in the chair & her role should have been to advise that laying 115 charges repeatedly for a few against the top club is lunacy. Some would say she had 1 job, she failed to even ensure the league operated lawfully or fairly.

Didn't she present us with the trophy v West Ham when Masters bottled it?

Masters gets a lot of stick for his part in this buffoonery, Brittain very much deserves the same amount of stick surely?

Because Arsenal and Liverpool have probably leaked the story to SKY. Not a surprise for these two toxic twins. But the question is why has a damaging story about Brittain been leaked. As some have said she was praised by Khaldoon previously.

Totally agree.

The PL board must have been in agreement to proceed with the charges, and aware of the impact it would have.

I doubt the individual who sits on Sky's board, Mai Fyfield could hardly contain her enthusiasm for launching the charges either, as I seem to recall some of her comments being quite scathing towards City. Probably a dipper supporter as she appears to fit the profile - an opinionated **** !

The whole board is complicit, unless there were dissenters amongst who were out-voted ?

The decision will not be made public as long as we're in with a shout. 1000% guaranteed if we fall off a decision will be revealed. I'm making this statement with the assumption that we are cleared and the subsequent bump this would give us.

That's the complete opposite to a damaging story about Brittain. I also doubt it's been "leaked" as they are on fixed terms of office, so it wouldn't have been a surprise to anybody.
