PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

100% opposite I would become more passionate in following the club. Owners come and go, as do managers and players. The club is what I support.

We would be 'guilty' of breaking rules that were set up entirely by the PL and backed by the Red Cartel to prevent us challenging.

I would be pissed at the owners for breaking the rules and telling us they didn't. I would also be pissed at them (still am actually) for not challenging the basis of PSR in the very beginning-I find it incredulous that it's now seen as cheating for an owner to invest his own money into his own business and make it better creating jobs and opportunities in the process.
I would still support the team and carry on going though.

As of early February 2026, the Premier League reportedly cut ties with Global Counsel, the strategic advisory and lobbying firm co-founded by Lord Peter Mandelson, following escalating scandal involving Mandelson's historic links to Jeffrey Epstein. The league previously used the firm for geopolitical guidance and government relations.

I understand the firm that previously did PR for the artist previously know as Prince Andrew are currently in the market for a new client. If anyone knows their details perhaps you could pass them on to Richard Masters.

Just because we mostly choose to consume the kind of biased client journalism that is clearly editorially anti-City )given the Clubs who are ultimately paying for it), it doesn’t mean the next generation of fans are hearing anything like the same message.
