PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

meh.

is it this or next monday?
friday on my mind blah blah blah.
you think that is confusing?

let me tell you,
never mind the day or even the month,
where i live it is in fact the year 1447 by the hijri/islamic calendar.
or, even more ridiculously, the year 2976 by the amazigh/berber calendar.
gregory barely gets a look in, let alone julian.

and you lot are worrying about which monday it is.
you don't know you're born yet.

2569 here according to the Buddhist calendar. Could be worse, though, @Ysabel 123 seems to think it's 2028 already ......

This is the only thing we KNOW. The judgment hasn't been published yet. Why? One of these.

1 It's the most complicated case ever presented before a tribunal or a court with the most serious consequences ever and so has taken the longest time. Favoured by one of our ITKs. Probability around 40% but reducing with every passing day, imho.

2 The club has raised some serious issues in its defence that i) led to a crushing defeat for the PL, favoured by one of our other ITKs, and ii) has caused the PL some organisational issues, favoured by me, a KFA. Probability 50% but increasing with every passing day, imho - so sue me.

3 The PL has proven the serious issues to the satisfaction of the panel and the delay is to consider sanctions, effectively combining the liability and sanction phases, favoured by nobody or, as Douglas Adams put it, "at least, no-one worth speaking of". Probability around 5% just because you never KNOW.

My guess: judgment published after the June Shareholders' Meeting when next season's members are codified and PSR is finally kicked out.

The truth is this

No fucker on here knows and they are just participating in sheer guesswork usually based on bias or wishful thinking. The length of time is a joke. In the meantime most non city folks believe we are guilty and even if we are found innocent will still believe we are guilty.
They will also continue to bash us based on bias or wishful thinking.
We will never get the full credit we deserve from our achievements over the last 14 years. At this point thats the only truth I can state on this whole mess.

This.

3 is far more likely than 2. Which is very unlikely. 1 is the likeliest.

Or likely that 1 is combined with the total incompetence of the PL in not securing the panel members schedule to meet/deliberate/ write up in a timely fashion instead of "yeah just whenever you can get the odd 1/2 day here and there we will fucking wait because the process is the main punishment and we don't give a shit about the bill because the clubs pay it anyway"

It’s still hilarious to me that all these haters on twitter that are desperately trying to sound like they know something seem to be expecting the announcement to be a punishment. It literally doesn’t work like that. They have to determine whether there’s any guilt first and that’s what we are waiting on. Yet you have these idiots peddling that “it is my understanding… 60 point deduction, transfer ban, relegation” etc. None of them actually realise that by listing punishments they are outing themselves as being an absolute know nothing clown.

Said it the other day, seems like it will get announced during the WC - we get proven not guilty, yes there will be uproar and piss boiling, but not as much if there was no distraction in place - all eyes on England and the WC

For the PL it will be even better if our national team are doing well

Surely the precedent has been set now even if we are guilty of the worst charges as Chelsea had 74 charges of payment off the books which would affect their accounts and FFP etc and got a £10m fine? 115 charges say £25m fine and done?
Chelsea had the mitigating circumstances of the new ownership admitting what had happened before them. In the world where we are guilty of the most serious charges, there are no two ways about it, we would be fucked. But unless there has been some astonishing new evidence that we don’t know about, I don’t really see how the PL meet the burden of proof on the really serious stuff. We’re of course guilty of non-cooperation, that we pretty much know for certain and will carry a fine.

It still happened though mate and it was through their most successful period and set them up to be a powerhouse at that time? Just becuause it was offered up, doesnt make it less of a crime?
