PL games to be shown on pay-per-view for £15 - plan scrapped

This has all been planned for ages .welcome to the
New football Order.

Loads of goals soft penalties, razzamataz, rampamt commercialisation, multiple commercial breaks, empty stadiums so you can see budweiser etc banners draped over the seats, players wrapped up in betting syndicate plots ...nothing to stop them now they dont have to look a supporter in the eye anymore...militant bent refs,a new prem winner every season, and goals goals goals
Say goodbye to the 0-0 results
Say hello to usa style show-business.(goals goals goals)
God blesss america.......or fuck the USA (The Exploited)...depending on your view point.
Being saying on fhese boards for years that Football will eat itself......
100% nailed it

My thoughts entirely, great post. Think the observer actually ran an article about 5 or so years ago and the headline was “football will eat itself” or something along those lines. The powers that be are using the pandemic as a smokescreen to get all the things they’ve always wanted to in place. The days of being an actual matchday home and away supporter feel a million miles away.

Yeah fuck this lark. World descending into traumatic enforced isolation. Millions about to lose their job.

PL and others will consider ANYTHING... except maybe revisiting the players earning 300k p/w.

Reason:

Everyone involved in the decision making benefits financially from huge contracts and inflated asset prices. Agents won't let it happen because they get a slice of everything. Managers salaries are increased in accordance with the players. And the board members are paid more for increasing the asset value of the club, which depends on the market remaining inflated.

hopefully includes the efl cup City B v Wigan games etc for an extra £5.99. Scumbags exposed for the greedy feckers they all are. They all still take a knee and take the piss at the same time.

cheeky fuckers know pubs likely to be shut so thought they'd show em and cash in

Encourages people breaking the "rule of 6". How many will gather ar a TV at their mates due to the £15 price point? Sensibly priced, this wouldn't happen IMO
Got to be honest, no way I’d go round to a mates house to watch a game if invited in those circumstances and I don’t actually reckon many others would, I think it’s a bit of a myth that
- though I stand to be corrected if plenty of posters on here say they would do that ....
