Still finding our rhythm but way too good for the tractor boys, Savinho got really lucky that should have been a penalty, the second time he's been lucky. I'm sure the coaching staff will have picked up on it.

Their player knew it was coming but I think he exaggerated the contact more than he needed to try to make sure, so it looked like he was looking for it. Had he just let it play out naturally, it probably gets given.

He needs to look out for that, as you say, that's a couple of times.

Savinho, Lewis, KDB and Haaland were imperious. Pep’s new formation will be a force of nature, especially against teams that come and play out. What a season this promises to be!

Ipswich, who have come far in their own journey, got a taste of what the highest level of football feels like. They’re lucky to be playing in a league where you can continually barge into your opponents without so much as a cautionary word from the ref. Their players looked shell shocked at the end of it all, having seen the game played around them, which was just desserts.

Dynamic of the team seems really good. Not the toughest of opponents but if we had no Foden and Rodri in the starting lineup last year, we likely would've struggled.
