Places to eat near the ground

Might be a bit late with this, but the Malmaison does a Sunday brunch / lunch for £20.(£8) for the boy.
Great value and very good food

Its a lot further than 5-10 minutes walk and they often have functions so definitely phone before you go to avoid disappointment

It's 5 minutes maximum and excellent food in a cafe style. Definitely need to book.

went to le delicatezze di Bruno, absolute top class, £6 for the best carbonara I've ever had and a free desert for all 3 of us.Would definitely recommend but best to book in advance on match day.

Good to hear you enjoyed it

4 of us went in there on Saturday night and it was excellent. Great food and Bruno is a real character who makes you feel welcome. The prices are pretty low for the quality of the food.

Book in advance, though, or you'll never get in. Only room for 32 in there.

Hopefully with Town slowly extending out to the Campus, we’ll get a few more places where we can have a few drinks and get some food over the coming years/decades.

Those fuckers have got a number of places around Salford Quays near the Swamp.

Looking for somewhere to eat tomorrow before the game and walking distance to Ice Station Zebra
Is Mackie Mayor food Hall recommended?
And what time does the free parking start on the metered bays in the town centre?

Thanks in advance
Yeah some nice things to eat in Mackie Mayor. I’d imagine being a cold January evening, it won’t be rammed.

Mackie Major is great, love theplaxe. If you want something in Ancoats - Bruco, Viet Shack, Rudys, Indian Affair all are good.

Parking restrictions change from 1 side of Swan St/Great Ancoats St to the other

On the outer side parking is free from 6pm onwards

Love this place. Chilli margheritas are something else. A small pie is surprisingly filling
I've lived at the back of it for the past seven years, but haven't been in the place since it's noisy sports bar days, I will do though .... the food looks and smells great, and it gets really busy at times.
