Some regard it as funny - some think it as stupid. Each to their own opinions. Personally, I think Joe is a bit of a plank for doing it.

I thought this was funny

How long before the press go ape shit about this? I'd give it 24 hours.

You wait till Balo does it then it will hit the papers

Ooooooooooooooh Balotelli, he's a planker, he's good at darts.

Top scientists are being drafted in to do some research into City players involved in this activity. "Vee are conzerned zat Yoe Hart looks var too vooden!" said Professor Oak Von Twobefour of the Maxx Planck Institute.

Next question. If balo does it, where do you think it will be. It's bound to be somewhere ridiculous. I'm guessing the roof of mancini's car. Possibly while he's driving.

Sod it - if some are prepared to risk life and limb for the kick - fair play to 'em.

Suppose it's the element of risk that is the key in all of this.

Don't worry, Stuart Taylor is holding Joe's ankles.

Well, they have to find something for him to do, now and then.

If it is Taylor holding his ankles I would be very worried!

It would have been in Taylor's best interests to have let go, in that case!

If they get injured doing this do City still have to pay their wages or is there a stupidity clause in their contracts?

Rugby League teams also been doing it, Sam Tomkins below...
