Platts Statement On The OS

I don't like the things he has said about us but I can live with it. I just fear that he is so inept that he is going to fuck things up for us, in what is a massive season. The thought of him coaching our first team players makes me very worried and makes me a feel slightly sick.

I would like to point out that while Malcolm Allison was probably the best coach ever at City he was also one of the worst managers. Platt's managerial record may not be entirely relevant.

Mancini obviously got on well with Platt and it may well work here. I am more interested in the signings we are making and how they strengthen us as a team/squad.

BUT Allison flawed or whatever loved this club

That would be on Bobbys head though, for allowing him to make any kind of match altering decision. As far as I am concerned, he is just there to put the lads through their paces in training (a training plan Bobby has conceived I trust).

Mancini knows Platt, he trusts Platt, he feels he can work with Platt.

Mancini wants the very best for City, he knows he has no room for error and no excuses given the resources at his disposal, so Platt will last as long as Mancini feels he has a worth.

Trust Mancini.

He's a ticking time bomb. I can see another Alan Ball (rip) moment where he says " errr there's nothing you can tell me! I once equalised against Belgium"

Oh Bob, you crazy Italians and your appointments, I'd have preferred you had Robbie Savage as your assistant and I'm not even joking

(shows what I know?)

Platt you are a mercenary rag twat

It was a winner against Belgium, might hold more weight if he does whip out that comment somewhere down the line ;) ;) ;)

He's some arsehole who could play football at an above average level 18 year ago

I really hope Mancini is right here but, I reckon Twatt is shite beyond belief

-- Sat Jul 03, 2010 11:07 pm --
