Play Balotelli against Tottenham

unless balotelli gets his head in place , he shud not be brought back in first team..

i know some people here would get mad on me but balotelli brings a bag full of controversy wid him..everytime he is substituted/booked , the next day news papers mention more about his drama and how city camp is divided rather than mentioning our victory..

i want bobby to be our ferguson/cryff/pep and for that i want players to respect him and obey him blindly.

balo is extremely talented but he needs to get his head right before getting into our first team again...everytime he plays , opposition fans point out we r not united since balo ends up fighting wid any one player/manager during game or training and this pisses me off..

also he needs to prove he is commited to us by stopping to moan in media..one day he says he loves milan, the other day he says manchester is not a gud place to live..

Sorry just had to point out that at no point has Balo said that he misses Milan. His exact words were that he missed his home city, which lazy journalists thought was Milan due to him coming through Inter's youth system. However, he is actually from Palermo in Sicily. And not once has he shown any disrespect towards the club, in fact he's done the complete opposite saying he enjoys being here. He doesn't like Manchester because ever since he's moved here he's got nothing but shit from the media and fans of other teams who are quick to jump on every single thing he does. FFS he got stick from one newspaper for giving his casino winnings to a homeless guy!

I'd start Balotelli and Tevez v Wigan. Another game of watching from the bench and realising if he doesn't stop messing about he won't get to sample any of this.

No chance!Balotelli is on the bench for me and IF he comes on he has to cut out all the crap and play for the TEAM.He also has to show some of the so called great talent everyone says he has but few of us have seen much evidence so far.In my opinion he is FOURTH rated striker at the club at the moment and i reckon if someone was mad enough to cough up 20 million he would be out of the door so fast it would blow Rooney's new hair out!

Roberto Mancini said:
“Mario is the greatest Italian talent of his generation and has everything needed to be world class, but must understand he needs to work hard. He has concentration problems and a heart of gold,” Mancini added. “I care about him the way I do my own son, but I won’t give him any leeway. He will remain at City.”

look like mancini disagree with you

No he doesn't.When was that interview done? Mancini says he has to work hard etcetera and he has concentration problems.

I have hardly seen any evidence of his so called great talent.

Look...if he wants to act the goat and fuck about then go and play Sunday league football for nowt! As it is we are paying him reportedly 150 grand a week to be a PROFESSIONAL not some larking about dickhead! Any other job and he would have been sacked.

He actually said he misses Brescia, where he was brought up, not Palermo.

I've always been a big fan of Mario and I think he has all the attributes required of a great striker.

But I cannot see past Edin and Aguero as things stand. After overcoming his issues with form and confidence so remarkably well and scoring three in three it would be baffling, to say the least, to drop Dzeko now.

And you don't spend the thick end of 40 million quid on someone to have them warming their arse on the bench for too long.

I would keep with the same side that started on Sunday but with Nasri on the bench although I must confess I'm struggling to think in place of who.

Fuck me it's great being a City fan these days!

mancini's quote are from today. and if you cant see balotelli's talent maybe you better give up with football.

No thanks.

Dzeko and Aguero both know that Tevez and Balotelli are waiting to take their places so have to be on top of their game. Its the same for everyone. The competition for places is now intense.

Adam Johnson didn't deserve to be dropped for Bolton but he was. Clichy was replaced because of Boltons threat from set pieces.

If the international break involves long journeys for players then Balo and Johnson can come in for Wigan.

If there are any changes made I suspect it will involve Clichy for Kolorov and De Jong for Milner/Barry.

Clichy was replaced because he picked up an injury in training last week so wasn't 100%. AJ was dropped because he was poor against Swansea, simple as

Simple as what? You
AJ wasn't poor against Swansea
he's made an opinion whether he's right or wrong,i just can't understand the abuse

I didn't say i can't see his talent, read what i actually DID say.I said i have hardly seen any evidence of his so called great talent.Potential, talent,is all just that until it is applied properly and on a regular basis.

The goalposts have moved for young master Balotelli with our new additions and he either shapes up or ships out.

After 44 years of following City i am hardly likely to give up with football. I love a character myself but there is a difference between being a character and acting like a knob, unfortunately Balotelli is in the latter at the moment.

Go to 1:15 in the video and look at all the angles and tell me that is nothing short of class. Even the BM guys that didn't even fancy Balo admitted it as such.

Agreed that is a great goal, and definitely if someone asked me, "Name 2 great goals by Balo at City?" that would be the only one I could come up with.

Haven't seen much of this vid but the first to goals are already class. So here's a starting point:

I don't think there is anyone at City I want to come good more than Balotelli. He plays up of course, but no-one strikes me as more misunderstood. He's the type of guy you can see scoring a hat trick against Barcelona and just holding his hand up like he did against Villa cool as you like.

I hope I'm reading it correctly in saying looking on at Aguero/Dzeko/Silva getting the goals he's madly fired up to come on and show what he can do. Without having a poor game by trying too hard of course.

That goal against Villa was probably the most technically impressive of the whole competition.

If we end up playing Barcelona, Balotelli will hopefully never see the pitch

He does have great potential but he has to sort his head out, stop thinking he is already a superstar, work hard and start fulfilling it.

I am a blue,i WANT him to be a success but i fear the worst. When he sees the progress Dzeko has made, the class of Aguero, the skill of Silva,Tevez still there,Nasri coming,he knows the time for joking is over if he wants some game time.

He did for Inter. You probably didn't watch so you couldn't tell me how he did.

Let's use this as a starting point:

The only player to have had a remotely bad game so far is Lescott, if Bobby thinks he can slot in at CB for the last 10 minutes at the Lane then give him a chance.

Providing that we're already 4-0 up.

I would like to see us play a 4-3-3, including Balotelli.

Something like this:

Hart

Zabaleta
Kompany
Lescott
Richards

Milner (or De Jong if available)
Silva
Nasri

Aguero
Balotelli
Dzeko

If we played this team and stayed solid at the back, I could see us scoring 3 or 4 goals against Spurs.

Im sorry but we would get battered
