Can't choose between silva and yaya
Yaya for me. Why? Because whilst he has been an astonishing player in all the time he has been with us, this season, his set pieces have become something of wonder and has saved our arse many a time - free kicks and penalties. This season, it is clearly an entirely new asset to his already considerable arsenal.
Silva - still a brilliant player as he always has been for us - and a vital cog, but I have two tiny gripes about his game.......... he never, ever shoots with his right foot and it is a clear weakness and secondly, I wish he would take more shots at goal. Understandably always looking for that perfect thread through the needle, but with teams knowing more and more how to defend against us, a few more shots from Silva and use of his right foot for taking shots, would be an added asset. But Silva my overall team favourite, but this season, Yaya has pushed on for me.

Silva. He has one of the best footballing brains of any midfielder I've ever seen. He's always holding the ball, searching, probing, looking for the killer pass. But not afraid to play the short, simple pass if that's the most useful thing to do. And he just doesn't go missing. HIs game level varies between the merely good and stratospheric. You never see him turn in a rank bad performance.
Weakness? Goals, for sure. He's just too unselfish. You see him looking for the pass when he should simply hit it. But that's partly down to the quality of the team that he's in. He'd take more responsibility if he wasn't surrounded by so many other players who like to score, and who can score.
