If Sergio had stayed fit, it would be an even harder choice.
I'm torn between Yaya and Silva atm. If I'm pushed I think I'll have to go with Yaya. The free kicks, the jaw dropping strikes from nowhere and the fact that cometh the hour, cometh Yaya, like a fucking train. Power, technique, vision and finesse. There isn't a player like him in the world.

Tough one, a joint award? That way no one gets left out!!!! Both have strengths and weaknesses that dovetail nicely, we both miss them when injured, both have weighed in with massive performances.
Yaya has stepped up with goals this a plenty and match winning performances, Silva has had plenty of great performances, his hull one being a prime example! he hasn't scored as many goals as he should! but he supplies others and oils the gears of our attack so well. But for his injuries, he'd be up there alone.
But the whole team has found a new gear, Garcia, Fernand, Kolarov, Dzêko , Aguero, Nasri, Kompany have all had spells of greatness and/ or improvement .
So for me a joint award, but if I have to choose, Yaya.

Yaya, by an embarrassing margin.
Yaya, and if we're being honest it's by a fair distance. Still three games to go but Silva would have to practically get a hat trick a game to get close. I hate these things being decided on goals but the man has scored over twenty from central midfield, including some of the finest you'll ever see.

I think opponents at any level have a healthy respect for Dave but Yaya scares them all. Neither is faultless, come what may, but Yaya deserves it most imo.
