I’m not going to argue he shouldn’t be discussed for the award. I’m arguing if you take his goals out of the equation - what else has he done for his team? KDB has scored, assisted, tackled, tracked back and been a leader in a team full of standout players, his overall contribution has meant his team has one trophy in the bag and at least one to follow. Salah will win the GB, did Sergio win POTY when he won the GB? Kante won it and only scored two goals.
Me neither
If the criteria is scoring the most goals in a season? I thought that would be obvious!not sure why Aguero not winning it should disclude him.

Tevez also won a GB with us but didn’t win POTY. I’ll say it again if you’re struggling - the top goal scorer doesn’t automatically mean POTY, if it did Sergio and Carlos would’ve picked up the award when they both won the GB.
I suppose it’d be good to see the GB winners list alongside the POTY winners.
Didn’t Suárez win both awards when Liverpool last won the league? Pretty sure Toure could’ve quite easily have won it with 20 goals from midfield and a colossus performance for us all season. Seems a bit of a pattern there, obviously it’s just a freak coincidence. If our players/managers can’t win it when we win titles then I’m not sure what our lads can do?
It will be anybody but KDB, the Rag and dipper loving media will make sure.
