Player that everybody loves but you think is overrated

During the first few months, and maybe the entire first season that Eddie was with us, I used to have the willies, when he was passing out to the defenders, but now, I’m just relaxed about it.

The only time I can recall City conceding a goal because of a poor pass by Ederson was at Klanfield, in the 3-4, I think it was.

Not a bad record for six+ seasons.
It was at Anfield.
That exposed his weakness of not being able to put his foot through the ball when it’s rolling towards him and maybe bouncing.
Something you take for granted by an English keeper.

Mason Mount , he plays every game wearing an invisible cloak , he contributes nothing , but weirdly if he was fit he would be in Waistcoats first eleven every time , he is an agents/advertisers dream a pretty boy with a clean cut image but an absolutely useless footballer.
Glad the Rags paid a £60m transfer fee and a contract worth around £70m over five years , they have signed some lemons in their time but Mount is right at the top of the Rags lemon tree

Declan Rice, Beckham, Eden Hazard and I always thought that loveable rogue Gascoigne was overrated too for all his cheeky charm.
To be fair, Gascoigne was ahead of his time. He was 30 years ahead of the Rags in girlfriend/spousal abuse. Where football is concerned I always thought he was slightly overrated especially as some in this country mentioned him in the same breath as Maradona - fucking behave.

Gazza was superb. Not only skillful but way ahead of others brain wise on the pitch. Off the pitch absolutely thick as pig shit. A stupid challenge on Charles, another stupid challenge on a Lazio player in training we only got to witness glimpses of his best 89-92, when he was at Rangers and Euro 96. I think Hoddle should have taken him to world cup 98 after him and Ince put in a sublime performance in Turin to get us qualification. As his career stands all ifs and buts. He was quite mediocre by the time he came back to England

Hazard was brilliant for Chelsea, almost a one man show at times, but they got rid at a good time. I think he's been awful since then so you would have a point now!

Beckham lacked skill, pace, tackling, but him finding space, ball retention, array of short and long passing and set piece ability I think he was an excellent player. I think he would have thrived in a team like yours now over the other players listed

Paul Gascoigne remains to this day the best English player I’ve ever seen live. Unbelievable talent ,unfortunately pissed it up the wall. Would have been the best ever in my opinion with proper guidance .

A modern day Jermaine Jenas.

Kepa. Was rated as one of the best in the world. Dreadful

Rashford. There was posts he is better than Kane (no joke) this bloke has been around 9 seasons and only hit double figures in 3 of them. Not prolific, not exactly someone who's gonna set you up on a plate either. Pacey but inconsistent and an erratic finisher.

Ramsdale. Lauded as one of the best goalies in the league poor man's Pickford. His time wasting can even put him to shame though

Deschamps. This fella has a CV of honours galore but I never see this fucker have a good game. Every team he played there was a huge array of talent around him and this prick seemed to just find a way there. He wasn't no Pirlo, he wasn't no Gattuso, he wasn't no Davids he wasn't no Seedorf. I don't know what he was but it looked sideways and back to me. There is hope for everyone in football when I think of him
