Personally, I dont think Saka's crap.

It's just the media, especially Arsenal fans, likes to put him equal to the likes of Vini Jr and Mbappe, which is just atrocious imo. He's a very good player, just not THAT good.

I just don't see how the English media can have such high appraisal for a player who has barely kicked a ball in the CL, if ever. Pretty sure if you looked around, you'd find a handful of them who'd take Ward-Prowse over Pirlo.

I normally read them after the match especially once we have won, it can then feel light hearted entertainment and palatable
 
I could name all the twats at Klanfield and the swamp but that may just be my bias creeping through

Saka, Mount, Ward-Prowse, Neymar jump to mind as people playing now, in the past, John Barnes (from before my hatred of the dippers fully developed so acceptable) Joe Cole, Jack Wilcocks.

Most of these are/were decent players, just not worthy of the adulation they receive

Did you not watch him in the Champions League Quarter,Semi and Final.
Brilliant in all 3 final rounds.
Rice is getting overrated now,average last season and average so far this season.
Saka form fell off a cliff as he shat it big time since March and still has not recovered this season.
Any rag that leaves them to a lower level club seems to struggle.
 
Caicedo, watched him closely and honestly didn't understand the hype about him. People were wanking themselves into a frenzy over him in the transfer forum. A decent player, but a worldy? A 100m plus player, GTF.

The ultimate one footed player, had to do a 360 degree turn at times just so he could get the ball onto his left foot.
Back in the mid 80's someone organised a trip behind the scenes at the Swamp, which you could do for free in those days, we were shown around by this old bloke. As we went into the dressing room all the shirts were hung up one through eleven. This bloke says, over in the corner sits the great man. It was the No 7 shirt, I expected him to say George Best but he Robson. I looked at one of my colleagues who was one the few sensible rags I have known, there are one or two, he just said there shaking his head. It became a standing joke between the two of us.
Wilkins was twice the midfielder he was.

I was of that opinion for Saka for a long time when Arsenal fans were raving over him - but last couple of years he’s really stepped up to a different level and looks class.

I’ll go for … and really hate doing this. But perhaps Bellingham , I feel he gets so much praise and hype but for England I just find him wasteful and a bit frustrating. Obviously he’s a special talent and young so hopefully can win me over soon enough.
