That shocking red against arsenal has ruined him I think. Until then he was looking a confident and promising young cb. His confidence looks shot to pieces which is a shame as I had high hopes for him after his initial burst in the team.

Been paired up with no regular partner the lad does very well in my opinion
Think playing centre half is probably the one position where you play your own game and have to form a good understanding of what your partners game is about.mcfcinprague said:[b:1zf0noxx]mrtwiceaseason[/b] said:Would you say in the odd game he gets chucked in for he has let city down ? Hi Dedryck I mean mrtwiceaseason LOL
I agree with you!
Denayer won't be HG for another season (and that's dependant on what Dyke pushes through), Boyata though is more than just HG, he's club trained.bellsouth said:Three months since a post about Dedryck, kinda some his time with us up.
Nothing at all against the lad but I really feel for his own benefit, he needs to go this summer. He could easily play week in week out for a Championship side or in an overseas league. Only through playing regular games will he ever improve and show his real potential. It's clear he's just here to make up the HG quota but bringing back Denayer or Rekik would achieve the same and they are both imo an upgrade as 4th choice CB and would potentially push for 3rd choice over the season.
But Denayer is too young to need to be HG, so it's irrelevant? I do wish people would stop using the phrase "quota" tbh, as it's entirely misleading and implies that it needs fillingColinLee said:Denayer won't be HG for another season (and that's dependant on what Dyke pushes through), Boyata though is more than just HG, he's club trained.bellsouth said:Three months since a post about Dedryck, kinda some his time with us up.

I can't see Rekik coming back and not playing after his time in Holland, I'd promote Denayer all day long.
