Happy to see him do well, he looked calm and didn't seem out of place. But in saying that he had very little to do. He could be a decent home grown 4th choice cb,.

It wouldn't be us without a communal scapegoat. Sounds like boyata is proving some of you wrong. We had it all with demichelis this time last year.

Fair play to the lad he had a solid game although I do feel there is a mistake just waiting to happen, but to be honest you could say the same about Mangala and we paid 32m for him

Boyata's issue and the reason he gets is nothing to do with his ability in my opinion its his decision making and confidence I still blame the Bolton loan. But today he looked solid and apart from one I think most of his fouls were intelligent ones, he was caught out of position once today that I can think of and that was because he had to close down a midfielder at the edge of the area which left Fletcher through on goal but Martin covered him well. Don't blame him for the goal at all.

Considering he hasn't played for about a year I thought he was excellent.

Very assured and composed.

Well done that man.

I think that he got a lot of support and encouragement from Martin and the other defenders which really helped his confidence. A few errors but a very, very good performance considering his first game for the 'stars' for a long time.

I agree MDM is one of the most underrated players in the prem and Schooled young Dedrick really well I'd keep them in for Everton
