Credit where it's due; he's got a lot of stick on here this season (a lot of it justified), but he played very well today considering he was pitched in very late. Kept the second coming very quiet, and made a cracking run and cross for the winner.

Gaël was brilliant today; my MotM, just ahead of Martin Demichelis.

He hardly missed a defensive clearance and was superb going forward too. It was probably one of best games since he joined us.

If he had lost his form, he certainly rediscovered it today. I don't know how badly injured Aleks Kolarov is, but if he's still out on Wednesday, there should be no worries about playing Clichy instead.

Absolutely top drawer today. Did a great job at the back and put in a serious shift getting up and down the wing.

Close with Demi for my MOM today.
