if that's the reason, this leads me to thinking that on this occasion Pellegrini is a dick. Punishing a player for wanting to fight for his place is ridiculous.

What if a player is told they 100% do not feature in managers plans and agent is instructed by Txiki to find a move. Club needs funds freeing up and player stays, scuppering any hopes of bringing in a fresh face or two. That player only has themself to blame, it really is that simple. If the club caves in, what's to stop others from calling bluffs from the club.

Then that player does what he feels is best for his career. If nothing suitable comes up then he has every right to stay, he is afterall under contract with us. That doesn't mean treating him like an outcast makes Pellegrini right.

If Pellegrini has told him that he won't feature in his plans then Pellegrini owes him nothing.

Football is a result based business, If a Manager loses games he has his bollocks on the chopping block. Nastasic is a fish out of water in our system just like Lescott.

Doing best for your career is playing as much football as possible. In money terms it's one step back to take two steps forward. Staying to collect wages is the exact opposite of doing best for a career and is more beneficial for a bank balance. When you're such a young player, you needn't worry about money so prematurely into a career.

Also there's an element of annoyance if Nastasic staying held up another possible move that the club deemed as a better fit for the club. There's more facets to this than Pellegrini not picking him debate.

I like Nastasic and imo he will be a top player once he returns to Italy.

Word is Guidetti, Sinclair and Nastasic were all told they wouldn't feature in Pellegrini's plans and their agents were instructed to find moves for the players.

Guidetti went to a club that had just lost Samaras and have a place for him, it's worked out do fair play.

Sinclair received no offered on parity or close to the 45k pw he is on here. City after permanent moves rather than loans but.I can see us loaning
him out in Jan.

Nastasic, bidders in Italy were leaving until the close of the window before posting paltry offers and the packages meant Nastasic chose to stay.

City and Pellegrini himself take a thought stance on this. Move on or rot, if a player chooses finance of career prosperity then that's upto them. But at least Nastasic hasn't been bitching like Sinclair. Nastasic will move on in Jan and I hope to Inter and we get a preference on Handanovic who imo is a far, far superior keeper to Hart.

The above is what I was pm'd a while back when I asked. Makes sense so never questioned it, one thing I sincerely believe is nonsense is the drug taking accusations. Out of order to make such spurious accusations. I know of a player personally that used to play for Wolves and got caught, nothing was leaked to the press and player kept to himself, yet the player was sacked. Then the news was leaked via backroom staff apparently, any big news like this is leaked. Wilshere agent threatened journalists according to arsenal itk I spoke to a few years back. Just like Cole did when he was caught in Harley St getting a mobile removed out of his arse by a Doc. Nothing that interests the public remains private for long.

What is that about?

Have you got proof of this? That's a very serious allegation to be spreading about.

Its hardly new though, that rumour has been doing the rounds for a while.

I have an issue with coke as well, it's too fucking expensive and overrated.

Re: Nastasic - just what is the problem?

Joined us and had a great future ahead of him. One of our better players in 2012/13. Clearly being frozen out but no one on here really knows why. I hope for his sake he finds a move in January because he's too good to be left out. I think Pellegrini forgetting about him is also a little short sighted as he could be a top defender for us in the future.

I only like Pepsi max

Recently I've discovered a love for Irn Bru, it helps you when you have a come down or are too rough to face breakfast.

Might have a ginger beer through the week as I used to enjoy it when I was a nipper.

What is that about?

Wilshere was said to have sustained a few injuries and off for a long time. Word is he was sniffing and his representatives, Arsenal board and FA decided together to cloak the news and blame injuries so not to invite negatives headlines and possibly destroy his fledgling career.

Cole put a small mobile up his arse, called the phone from a different number. Couldn't remove it, a Chelsea fixer got him a private appointment at a Harley Street quacks, they removed the phone and it was hushed. Daily Star had a story in their paper in a 'hush hush' column in some segment and leaked the news but withheld his name. Coles lawyers silenced the story going further to withhold his privacy.

The above is notes as hearsay but genuine sources back the stories up. Take the Giggs affair, that seedy situation will be used time and again as an example of how important info has to be surpressed, especially when involved with bans from the court. Typically fixers do the graft and involve lawyers the whole way along to aid in placating the predicament and covering trails.

Which Cole?

Was it one of the big Motorola ones from the 1980's?

What ringtone did he have?

I'm surprised you haven't heard about it. It was all over social media at the time and has been ever since.

I don't bother with social media much. So it could just be speculation?

It may very well be, but there are a lot of stories about Ashely Cole and his phone. I think Cheryl fucked him off shortly after iirc.

Re: Nastasic - just what is the problem?

People keep saying as fact that Nastasic had a great game vs Real Madrid & a great first season. Next time you are amongst a random group of City fans, see how many agree with you on one or both of those opinions. See how many want him back.

Then when you are amongst neutral fans, ask them what their opinion was & whether they thought City looked better or worse with him in the team.

Then ask the question, if all the scouts in the Premier League saw a young kid with exceptional talent, who has not been given a chance, why have none bought him off us for a knockdown price ?

You would imagine at least Wenger would have snapped him up. Even Harry hasn't bought him.

Perhaps they are all clueless & don't realise what a fantastic defender he will turn out to be. Or maybe all those scouts, all around the country, with all the videos of all those games to look at, have missed him ?

Or perhaps they think they have players in their reserve teams who are better than him & he's not worth paying money for ?

Has to be one of the above, what else can it be ?

Your post would actually be worth something if it wasn't for the fact that the club did have offers for him but he chose to stay and fight for his place which has apparently resulted in him being exiled from the first team.

He was told he didn't figure in the manager's plans.

Haha, funny as fuck, you've been watching too much of The Inbetweeners.

Assuming that that's true (and not just been made up - see Richard Gere/hamster up the arse rumour- and 'leaked' to the many bitter arsenal fans in the press), how on earth would anyone know that he put it up there just so he could ring it from a different number? I doubt you'd go into detail with your doctor about the whys and wherefores of it being in your arse, let alone someone from the Daily Mirror ffs!!

I also lol'd at your description of the mobile phone as being 'small' - as if that extra bit of detail is gonna make it more believable. I don't think anyone was ever gonna think you were describing some huge novelty Dom-Joly type phone.

Re: Nastasic - just what is the problem?

How many games has Nastasic played for the Serbian National Team recently?
Has he even been playing for his country?

All the videos of training and whatnot don't show Nastasic whatsoever, yet will show other players who aren't regularly playing such as Scott Sinclair.
He isn't even training, or he's training by himself.

Strange situation. How can he fight for his place if he isn't even training with the first team?

You can tell that clip is Australian but not because of the accents. They had to dumb down the ringtone and give it an unnecessary 'comedy effect'
Fucking convicts still haven't progressed from Paul Hogan. I'm surprised Delvene Delany wasn't playing the nurse.
