Re: Samir Nasri

the understanding between him and yaya is superb. you can see that when someone of them scores, the other one seems always to be very happy. i guess because of the mother language of the two, they developed some kind of a friendship.
The one-twos between them are joy to watch

Re: Samir Nasri

He is virtually unplayable as far as the opposition are concerned these days, I was one of the Nasri doubters last season but more than happy to eat humble pie now and acknowledge what a fantastic player he really is. West Ham gave up challenging him in the end last night, he was that good.

Re: Samir Nasri

He's a really good player. I actually never rated him too highly for quite a while when he was at Arsenal but then when France beat England at Wembley a few years ago and he and Benzema tore England a new one i really noticed the lad's talents.

In the latter half of our title winning season he was our best player and this season he's arguably been one of the top three best players.

Re: Samir Nasri

He has been excellent this season in general with just the odd off day. I think the style of football city play has been afforded them to a large extent because flair players such as Nasri, Navas, Aguero and even to an extent Silva have been willing to work hard when we don't have the ball. Nasri and Navas particularly are often helping out the full backs and allowed us to get away with "2" in the middle. His absence is also noticeable as out passing becomes much more lateral without him, clearly the counter attack remains potent but against well organized teams who defend with 10 and 11 behind the ball he is the player who most often is facing the goal when he receives the ball. Silva is more likely to run laterally and look to thread a pass on the angle, which he is fantastic at, but in packed defenses it becomes less frequent that he finds the killer ball.

Just my take on it, they offer something different and when both are on their game will unlock most if not all defenses.

Agree 100%. They have started to work together really well and along with the Navas/Zabs partnership on the right wing, it's taken our offence to another level.

Re: Samir Nasri

He has been absolutely fantastic. It's such a pleasure to see Pellers work with what he already had at the club in cases like with Samir and to see the player really thrive. He looked so dangerous against the hammers, always a threat.

I also really like his attitude and demeanor. He really seems to believe in the project, he had to deal with a lot of people giving him shit over his switch from le arse and he rode it out well for the most part. Always has a smile on his face and he gives a decent interview as well.

My favorite player this season. Hasn't done much wrong. Always put in his best in all games.
