Re: Samir Nasri

Nasri stays fit and we win the league and the domestic cups to boot imo, he is that important.

Re: Samir Nasri

Get Nasri or Yaya with one defender and the keeper between them and the goal, and there's a real chance of a goal.

Nasri adds goals to City. Whereas Silva is more creative. In front of goal I'd have Nasri every time

It's still hard to believe how well Samir has played this season. His return from injury is perfectly timed, and judging by his post-match interview he is going to be well and truly pumped up for the Barca game. I also think the added bonus is that Yaya lifts when Samir is on the pitch. They seem to be very good friends.

I think the combination of him, Merlin and Jovetic (with probably Alvaro as the spearhead) are going to create merry hell for the Barca defence.

Welcome back Samir. Keep on playing with a smile on your face!

The team spirit through the whole squad seem to be fantastic. No moaning about not starting etc. Everyone of them fighting for the shirt, most getting game time, all wanting to be part of whatever this season is going to offer.

He is indeed an excellent finisher and makes the kind of late runs into the box that we sometimes lack when he's not in the team.

Re: Samir Nasri

Great to see Samir back yesterday. Right up there for player of the season for me. I was thinking today that he scores all his goals at the family stand end. Can't remember one at the South Stand end. Anyone can put me right on this ?

Not a bad read.
