Nasri is a player with a lot of chip on his shoulder due to his recent decisions in terms of joining the club and he definitely plays like it and is always keen to put his face at the forefront of everything when the team achieves notable success e.g winning a cup. So expect to see Nasri's face everywhere when we win anything. Almost like '' eat this haters!!!!!, in your face!!''
This is besides the point though. I have always said that Nasri has a leadership role, an important role at Manchester city and it is delightful to see that he is finally stepping up and taking up the challenge. I remember an incident with the French national team where a sit was reserved for one of the senior players as part of the house rules in the team. But Nasri was like screw that, I sit where I want and so he sat on his team mate sit and there was a lot of holla balu, or is it holu bulu, or hogla ballum, you get my point but Nasri was not phased by it. I believed this happened when he was much younger as well.
The point I am making is that he has the make up of a someone that a team can rely upon to lead by his performance on the pitch. He has a resilient, almost rebellious character and is not afraid to face off with anybody. Last season was disappointing but this season he has shown signs of being a key player and leader for city for the future and hopefully he continues to step up and become the kind of player I always thought he was.
