Re: Samir Nasri

Nasri showed loads of passion on the pitch on Sunday, perhaps more so than any other player. He was first to congratulate Ya Ya and celebrated that goal the longest. He went mental when he scored himself and celebrated like a man possessed at full time.

A few others could take some tips on seriously giving it your all for the 90 minutes, as a fan it's one of the best things to see.

He's turning into a fans favorite with an attitude like that.

A couple of things.

On the TV coverage, it looked like Samir was praying on the pitch before the game while our fans were doing the poznan in the background... looked extraordinary. I found it really powerful and not a little moving. Did anyone else see this?

Always prays before every game

Re: Samir Nasri

I know it's a while back now but does anyone have a picture of Nasri's face when Edin Dzeko scored his fourth against Spuds in the title winning season? Made me chuckle for a while that!

Re: Samir Nasri

He's been top notch for us this season sure he will get a new contract in the summer. The goal on Sunday was top notch on the outside of his foot.

Re: Samir Nasri

Frank Leboueuf was having a dig at Nasri this morning on Talksport saying he's a wonderful footballer but shouts his mouth off too much and not somebody the French people want to see in their national team.
