Re: Samir Nasri

nasri has been superb this season , but against liverpool we need someone to match their energy , i would start with jimmy and garcia in place of samir and navas to counteract the first 20 minutes of their enthusiastic bravado , we have creativity with silva and yaya . If its level with 20 minutes remaining we, dont shut up shop , instead we bring on navas, aguero and nasri , and show them what it takes to be champions , they wont know what hit them.

Re: Samir Nasri

If he does play tomorrow, he will need to step up and not hide like he did against Arsenal. This game is a game that we cannot afford to have any passengers. It is full on for all the players. Personally I have developed a distrust for Nasri primarily because of the materialization of events in and around the Arsenal fixtures in terms of his behavior before, whether it is getting sent of before the game or during the game where he seems to lack the mental constitution of a proper professional and lets emotions get the best of him.

I am not having that so he has a long way to go to convince me. He is a very talented player and I have stressed a number of times that he has an incredible capacity to lead but he has to re-calibrate his allegiance and forget about the past. And also don't dwell on the ball too much, pass it and move.

Agree with every word. He is pathetic against Arsenal. Is he really that delicate that a few boos upsets him and stops him playing?

I believe it is worse than that, he really does not want to play against Arsenal. But it is an issue he will have to tackle to really show the french national team and some skeptical fans like myself that he is someone that could be relied upon in such situations of internal conflict. Nevertheless he is a talented player and has had a relatively positive season thus far and I hope he really takes the responsibility as one of the players to lead the push for the title, starting tomorrow.

Re: Samir Nasri

A class player but nows the time to really make a name for himself in the run in. I think he's been brilliant since he's signed for us, but he does go missing when it gets a bit tough. Hoping for a massive performance from him tomorrow.

Re: Samir Nasri

Another sterling performance from Nasri tonight. Could someone please point out to me what this guy actually does during games? Besides hugging the touch line passing the ball backwards, and acting like a little petulant twat anytime he gets tackled by the opposition. He is the epitome of that performance tonight.

Re: Samir Nasri

Thought he was back to his usual self of last season again.
So so poor tonight and the goal was lucky.
So many times he could have slipped Kolarov for a cross, no backwards/sideways pass again and again.

Spot on.

He gets paid more than Silva to do what? Kolarov was more effective going forward.

Nasri is a player who puts in half a season then quits. Notice how clubs like Real aren't remotely interested in him. They know it and Wenger knew it. We got suckered and we're about to extend him for some reason.
