Always wanted him to succeed here. You guys think we'll ever see a

zab vinny nas clich
dinho yaya
navas silva nasri
aguero

lineup?

i mean the negredo aguero combo is awesome and what not but i feel like we'll need to stack our midfield the next time we play bayern. javi isn't good enough for me, to lie behind dinho and yaya so what's are other options? the lineup i gave is super small but i feel like the interplay would unreal. just have to make sure yaya fulfills those defensive responsibilities

no aguero needs negredo to link up with aguero on his own wudnt work.

Re: Samir Nasri

Excellent yesterday. He's finally turning in some consistently good performances. I hope he can keep it up.

Seems like Pellegrini is using him in the right way.

Re: Samir Nasri

Thought he was immense yesterday. When he is up for it he is world class.

That said, watching the effort that hit the crossbar on the OS highlights, i reckon he miscues it, it looks like he is lofting it with the outside of his boot for Pablo coming in at the far post, and gets under it.

Either way, played a blinder yesterday. In this form we can afford to lose Silva for a game or two through injury or rest.

Re: Samir Nasri

fantastic player for this sort of home game, still not convinced that he will show enough when the chips are down.

Re: Samir Nasri

Really liking Samir. Glad he's still here after all the crap he went through (some of it self-inflicted). He got so harshly criticized and I think it took a lot of balls for him to stay here and turn it around! He is more honest than almost any other player too, and without being stupid (usually). Knows a whole lot about football.

Great press conference today. You can tell he thinks on things quite a bit, which may have been his problem in the bad periods. Loved his quote about deciding to smile and be happy and do what he does best, play football.

Re: Samir Nasri

He came across very well today

Did anyone hear what pellers said when asked how he was doing?
Wish they would sort the sound out

Re: Samir Nasri

^^^^^^^

turned sound up to max, he said something along lines of he can improve in the future.

One question summed up the immediacy and lunacy of british media:
"what's it like to see arsenal at the top of the table? do you wish you'd stayed there?".

Facepalm moment.

"Yes, it's still a great regret coming to Manchester City. I didn't want to leave but I was forced out. It's only my Premier League winners medal that comforts me at night".

Re: Samir Nasri

He stole the show today in the press conference, he can be a good pundit in the future.
