Re: Samir Nasri

Nasri the unlucky sod whose season may be ended because the ref's awful decision to try to 'even' things up. If Cabaye had been sent off, the rest of the players would have calmed down and this potentially wouldn't have happened. Furious, and gutted for Samir.

apparantly the injury that walcott got is one of the most painful injuries you can get, worse then broken bones which is why it was weird he didn't seem in much pain (maybe was the adrenaline from the spat with spurs fans).

but anyway if its anything similar to walcott injury (which it looked like it was) then its season over for him. and probably world cup as well.

Ask Paul Lake about damaged ACL. The recovery time and treatment is a lot better these days through key hole surgery but make no mistake they are horrendous injuries that are very difficult to come back from. Given a choice out of torn ACL or broken leg you would take the latter every single time.

Pellgrini says it might be the medial ligament, so not his ACL.

Re: Samir Nasri

Absolutely gutted, that looked like a season ending injury.
No CL and no world cup for him, while he was in the form of his life.
Now we defo need to sign someone during this month, we just can't rely on Miner and Navas to rotate with David.

Re: Samir Nasri

If he is out will be a huge miss- test the waters with Mata? Not wanted at Chelsea.

Re: Samir Nasri

"Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says Samir Nasri has suffered a suspected medial ligament injury and will be assessed on Monday. The Frenchman was stretchered off following a nasty kick to the knee inflicted by Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa - the Magpies defender getting away with a yellow card." - BBC

you've got to be fucking kidding me, that has to be a retropsective red
