Re: Samir Nasri

I wonder if Deschamps is feeling the pressure? He is less nutty than Raymond Domenech but his results with the French National side isn't impressive imho.

It's being reported that Deschamps is taking out a lawsuit against Samirs girlfriend, soft twat

Wait, in Europe you can sue people for calling you names?

Wow

Suing her for calling France a nation full of racists.

Re: Samir Nasri

Crazy decision not to select him. Has Deschamps justified or explained his thinking?

I looked through their squad, and I don't see how they can afford to leave him out

These are the midfielders: Yohan Cabaye (Paris St-Germain), Clement Grenier (Lyon), Blaise Matuidi (Paris St-Germain), Rio Mavuba (Lille), Paul Pogba (Juventus) Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle), Mathieu Valbuena (Marseille). He does not have the physical power of Pogba and Sissoko, but none have his technique

I will watch with a twisted pleasure as the French national team fall apart. Any day now. You can't help but think that Nasri [and missus] will have the last laugh...

Telling the truth is a good legal defence.

French football 'approved quotas on number of black players’

French football chiefs have been accused of secretly approving unofficial quotas on the number of “athletic” black and Arab players in favour of “intelligent” white players in youth academies groomed for the national squad.

In English law, fair comment and honest opinion are defences in defamation, In contrast, France has a federal, paper-based system [they don;t care about oral evidence or cross-examination, in reality]. However, the water carrier is already making a laughing stock of himself, much like his mate, Napolean.

e

He said that Nasri doesn't like being a squad player. He gets upset when on the bench and doesn't play that well when he gets the chance to play.

I think Nasri handled the snub in a professional manner but his girlfriend did him or MCFC no favors when she made those remarks on twitter.

Sad twat deschamps is suing her now for insulting him.

Suing her for insulting him ?? Is that even possible?

Apparently so..

"France coach Didier Deschamps sued the girlfriend of Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri on Friday for allegedly insulting him on Twitter.

Deschamps’s lawyer told Reuters that his client had filed a legal complaint for “public insult” against Anara Atanes for messages she posted after Nasri was left out the French provisional World Cup squad".

Re: Samir Nasri

Statement by FFF
The FFF condems insulting remarks against Didier Deschamps and fully supports the coach in his approach
The unanimous feedback confirmed that the whole of France condemed such remarks
FFF believes that the unanimous indignation is enough to condemn such behaviour

Blimey

Look at this postgame interview. Every answer is just excellent. And he says on missing the world cup: ‘Yeah, it wasn’t supposed to be like that, but that’s life! It’s good for my club! I’ll rest all summer, go on holidays, and come back fresh for next season.’ Awesome attitude. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

If France doesn't want to get behind him then we will make up for it! Love having him here!

Also for anyone who didn't see the Al Ain friendly, check out his pass he made! Oooft!

Thanks for the vid. Brilliant pass.

Nasri must have had a personal falling out with the deschamp. I dun buy the unhappy to be a sub explanation. He seems keen to go to brazil. Besides, if he performs well in a friendly pre WC game, there is a good chance he can make the starting line up. But he wasn't even given that chance.

Re: Samir Nasri

Spot the two guys in utd shirts in the video.
I would never go to watch that lot.
If they were playing in my back garden I'd close the curtains.

Fuck France.

Re: Samir Nasri

Annoying part about all this is that Nasri's reaction has been very mature. He said it was hard to accept but respects the coach's decision, and he seemed ready to just move on and get ready for next year.. but now this crap, and once again he has headaches. Not to mention the FFF will use this as an excuse to keep him away from national team for good. It all seems quite unfair. Nasri has made mistakes in past, but I think he has really matured recently and would only get better without distractions.

His girlfriend was just showing loyalty and anger because she knew it meant a lot to him. Stupid word choice, though, and she should have taken a note from him on how to just let it go. But suing over a 'f*ck you' on Twitter? Wow.. don't you have more important things to worry about!?!?

I don't think she's being sued. I think it's just a formal complaint to the courts. No other legal action will likely follow.

As you say, Nasri's reaction has been very measured. It's his girlfriend who said it! And you can't control what your girlfriend (or boyfriend) texts on Twitter in the heat of the moment. And yet somehow he seems to be being blamed for it. Really pisses me off. He's a good lad, and he's going to get better and better for us. Is already starting to take some of the weight off Silva for advanced midfield responsibility and I'd like to see more of that next season.
