Him and silva bone idle out of possession again just like against barca. Expecting someone else to do their work. I'd have subbed them both. Ambling around, no effort, waiting for us to get the ball back.

Absolutely amazed to see you compare the two players. Silva works his socks off every game and contributes fully Sammy does when he feels like it.

Its fairly evident that against decent opposition Nasri & Silva should not play together in our current 4 man midfield. The team can carry one creative (but lightweight player) not two - so why do we keep doing it?

The most underrated player on City's team.

If he was a big black African lad he'd come under about 25% of the criticism that he does. He has an image problem and not a football problem.

He's a flashy player but too often not very effective. Yaya and Silva aren't trademark tacklers or grinders in City's midfield but compensate by producing a lot of good work offensively, Nasri doesn't produce anything like those two in the opposition's half to warrant his arrogant swagger. From the looks of him he needs more training on the treadmill so he can close down the fitter players.

I like him but he is a flat track bully and can be very hit and miss at times.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him sold in he summer if a respectable offer comes in as I do think we could find better i.e. De Bruyne.

Or maybe, just maybe people give Yaya a little more leniency because in the main he turns up for big games? I don't dislike Nasri but his actual end product for a player in his position and more importantly a player of his talent is nowhere near good enough. Is 25 goals in over 150 appearances over 4 seasons good enough? Yaya scored almost as many from a deeper position last season alone.

You state he is the most under-rated in Citys team, I would argue he is one of the most over-rated. Yeah he looks good on the ball and plays nice little triangles with Yaya and Silva against garbage opposition. I've yet to see him consistently show the same level of quality against the better sides in important games.
