P.S. He was trouble at Arsenal and France national squad.
How much trouble has he caused here exactly?

So far we've heard from some posters on here who think he's causing trouble.

You really think the trouble he caused at Arsenal and France suddenly stops when he is at City.

Do a search 'Nasri trouble' and you get artricle after article in regards to his attitude. Do a search on Silva (as example) and you get nothing related to attitude.

I'm aware of his France trouble but that was more a personal issue with Deschamps this last summer. That was hardly before he came to city.

And a search for his time at Arsenal gets me an article on him calling some fans "stupid"... BUT in response to them calling him a money-grabber right after he agreed to move to City.

No doubt a lot of arse fans are still angry about his move but that hardly makes him a troublemaker during his time there...

Schurrle was sold for £24m to Wolfsburg.

Yep I've seen articles stating £22m and £24m for Schurrle, but even with the £2m difference, it aint close to 20m.
Either amount is more than €20m.

He was used as an example as imo he is of a similar ability to Nasri, like the poster proposed. However, Chelsea managed to get more than €20m.

Simple really.

Not really, you compared a player based on two different currencies. One being weaker than the other by 1.32 back in February when Schurrle was sold.

Yet all these people on here are saying he is trouble. Defend him all you want, but people will still call him trouble and will be happy to see the back of him.

If the fee in sterling is above 20m, then the amount in euros is above 20m.

I'm struggling to see your point. I've even seen stories where the overall fee for Schurrle is in excess of €30m.

Regardless, the point was the similar player aspect and Chelsea got more that £11m or even €20m for their player.

he keeps the ball as well as anyone in our team and is a perfect fit with silva, i like him and it will be a sad day if he goes.

and if he`s pissed off with being navas`s substitute i dont blame him navas, although energetic most of navas`s work comes to nothing

Yes all that shows is that the print and TV media has done a good job labeling him as a problem child when there's little to NO proof of it.

Which is the point I was making that the only source of this are some of the comments here and a lot of butthurt Gooners all over the internet.

Well it's because Schurrle was told for £24m

So Chelsea were able to get at least €20m for a similar player, who was actually a backup in their squad.

Thanks for backing me up.

Like I say, Googling other City players using negative words brings back nothing. Googling Nasri does. Why is that? Because the media have access to thing things we don't. If Nasri wasn't trouble then he wouldn't be labelled as a trouble maker by the media.

For me Nasri is an enigmna. On his day he is up there, but we never know which Nasri is turning up and we cannot afford that doubt anymore if we are to become serious reaching our goals.
