Also, I'll add half-time arguments probably happen all the time, especially in big-games. If the argument was not severe enough to see Pellegrini take either off at half-time then why would he drop them for the next match when the situation would likely have cooled by then? It's almost certainly bollocks, unless the argument got physical then any manager with any sense would move on from the issue, as I imagine Kompany and Fernandinho did. Dropping them would serve only to aggravate the situation.
