I wonder what's going on with that?

City website recognising how good a talent he is while he's not even in the squad.

It's a very strange situation. I'm gutted for the lad, to be fair.

I doubt our club simply forgot to send him out. Wouldn't be surprised if he refused to go to certain places (like Sunderland last Christmas) as it would provide poor backgrounds for his selfies and he expected someone much bigger to come in for him. From how we've been these past few years theres no doubt if he's still in this situation it will have been one completely of his own making.

Are you wumming or just makeing shit up about the lad?
It is well documented about his loan deal to Sunderland, Red tape prevented Zuculini making a temporary move to Sunderland. Players are not able to join a Premier League club and then immediately move to another on loan due to Financial Fair Play legislation.
So fuck all to do with selfies or him refusing to go anywhere...

Going by what I read on here and what I remember, but if I'm wrong I do apologise.
However I was under the impression red tape stopped him signing for Sunderland in August pre his Valencia move, not in the winter window when they renewed their interest.

Link regards renewed Sunderland interest that winter: http://news.ladbrokes.com/football/...t-manchester-citys-bruno-zuculini_222655.html

Happy to admit I'm wrong like but going by what I remember was being said on these forums, will have more of a look see later.

On the basis he is playing he must have a permit.

Does anyone know the squad rules for the league cup?
As long as they're registered with the club then they are good to play (excluding players who are suspended/cup-tied). If Pellegrini wants to he could play Zuculini vs Sunderland.

You say you knew about the red tap but write
he refused to go to certain places like Sunderland last Christmas? Proof of this slur please..
In your second link how can they go back in for him when it is against FFP Players are not able to join a Premier League club and then immediately move to another on loan in the first year, Gus Poyet being the manager is a clue it's the same year..

Regards the second link. Weren't able to sign him due to red tape in summer window of 14/15 season (first link, dated '18 August 2014'), where able to in the winter window of 14/15 (7 January 2015) as they went back in for him. The exact reason why they were suddenly able I don't know off hand, but I assume Sunderland knew what they were doing and the fact I can't name this particular subsection and heading within the FFPR rules doesn't mean they weren't able to. Whatever was stopping them in the Summer simply wasn't in the Winter, if you wish to know the exact reason feel free to look it up yourself as for me the fact Sunderland were able to go for him (even if they didn't get him) suggests that the Red Tape no longer applied in the second 14/15 transfer window.

Remember how I said "wouldn't be surprised", that denotes opinion, not fact. My opinion being formed by the relentless selfies and instragramming the kid did, which gave the impression he wasn't treating his opportunities with respect and taking the piss out of the club who pay him (us). Now, if I am to be repremanded for forming an opinion on Zucculini's actions over the course of last year, I suggest a forum where opinions fly everywhere might not be for you.

Taking selfies and enjoying life gives you an opinion he his taking this piss out of our club and refusing to go out on loan to clubs, I suggest you start writing for harpercollins mate..

This notion he should have put on a hair shirt and went in for copious self-flagellation is... odd.

I know, can't stand this line of thought. 22 year old kid moves to Europe, becomes independent, earns some money and decides to take some happy snaps probably for the benefit of his family and friends back home as he's pretty much a nobody with no fanbase.

How exactly does that stop him from turning up to training every day and putting in maximum effort?

The reason he wasn't given game time on loan..

The key point here though is that Nuno Santo has given a bit more chances to Felipe Augusto the reserve player and not to Zuculini because Zuculini is here on loan and Felipe Augusto is VCF player so Nuno is trying to avoid possible reliance on Zuculini. Its one of those where if Zuculini turns out to be really crucial and then he leaves in the summer, its losing a key player and I think he is trying to avoid any such situation and with everything I said previously he doesn’t have too much room to give Zuculini many chances.

Does anyone know if he is eligible to play tonight?

If this or the FA cup are the only competitions he can play I wonder if that influences the team selection?

Only players eligible to play in Premier League matches can play in League Cup, so he can't play. No
