The best football player in England.

He isn't just a great individual player, he's a great team player, he's a top pro, an unassuming guy off the pitch...everything you want in a footballer which is all to infrequent with modern day footballers.

He's the epitome of holistic!

i have said it before on here but will say it again now.
david silva is simple the most talented, magical player i have ever watched in a blue shirt. his work rate is phenomenal and when we play without him we miss him more than another player in our squad.
i would not want to see the club sell him for any money. he is a joy to watch and seems like a lovely man too.
anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong :-)

Did you see the Newcastle youngster Aroze go to him for his shirt at the end. Couldn't hear what was being said, clearly, but Silva was so nice about it. So modest and unassuming, you wouldn't have known who was the youngster, given his demeanour. He just swapped his shirt at the end without ceremony.

Ayoze is from Tenerife, Spanish Dave is a hero in the canary islands.

Malg admitted later that he was bored at work and said it as a joke. Unfortunately Jack74 is a fine example of 'there are none so blind as those who will not see'. I am sure I could take Jack to an art gallery and show him a Picasso masterpiece. Jack would see lots of squiggly lines, whereas most would see a work of beauty.

It's a shame because Jack is missing out on appreciating an artist at work, for that indeed is what Merlin most certainly is.

Scored a very good goal for Spain. Created the chance and great finish.

Also had a couple of great chips and through balls. looking sharp
