The best thing is he can play without pace now so we should have him at his peak for another 3-4 years, when he and Aguero are on it they're immense together. We could do with another like him in the team (Isco?) :)

Ideally we'd have someone similar to one side of Silva and a speedy goalscorer to the other

Silva, Coutinho and Bale all interchanging behind Aguero would be amazing.

I'd love Isco but the chances of getting Bale and Isco would be slim at best, and Bale is almost certain to leave

Gareth Bale playing down our left-hand side would be phenomenal.

And considering he started as a left-back, his defensive qualities would be an added bonus.

Acquiring him would also upset more than a few rags too.

An absolute fucking genius! To think Coutinho is the the PFA team in front of him is hysterical. Goes to show that even though they play at the highest level professional footballers are either thick or know fuck all about the game they play.

My only problem with Silva is that, unlike Aguero, and occasionally a few others, he's never really done it for us in the Champions League.
The best player I've ever seen in games where City are winning and starting to catch the opposition on the break.

2-3 at München, anyone?

Real Madrid home.
Silva's usually are most consistent player in Europe IMO.

He is such a joy to watch play. Pulling the strings in midfield, the maestro , seeing thing the others don't see playing the pass the receiver doesn't yet know he wants.

It seems he fully entered his prime this year. If we're lucky he'll be in it another 4-5 years with another two of slight decline on the backend.

Where we go in the future, whoever manages us, will be on the back of this giant.
