Need to keep giving him the free role. Towards the end of last season when we were down to 1 striker he came into the number 10 role and looked completely at ease. He gets more of the ball and has no direct defensive job (tracking a full back). He took the Arsenal defence apart today on numerous occasions with a dribble or a pass. They were shit scared!

It's a national disgrace this man has never even been nominated for Player of the Year.
He was on a different planet to frauds such as Ozil.
Fabregas will get his reminder next week, you know, where you couldn't get within five yards of Dave over two games last season?
For that matter, neither did Xavi or Iniesta.
Will establish himself as our greatest ever player during his next peak years.
A privilege.

The best player in the premier league bar none.

Truly a world class player. We always play so much better when he's on the field, his passing is brilliant 99% of the time and he sees passes that wouldn't even occur to other players.
So happy he's signed a new contract and hope he retires here. A steal at £21 million as well, all things considered in the modern transfer market!

Should of scored that chance in the first half and i don't think he was at his best today going by his standards,still looked sloppy at times.He must take a bit of a responsibilty in scoring goals too,it is frustrating at times.
