One of the flaws with Iniesta has been mentioned already. It's his partnership with Xavi. Take Xavi out and Iniesta is less effective. IMO Xavi is/was the better of the two. (Not that it's a flaw particularly, as it is a team game).
Silva doesn't have that sustained, continuous working partnership with a player of the same ilk/mould as him (broken partnerships with injury stricken Aguero excluded). Yaya either sits deep or is played as a more direct goal threat, they don't always work in perpetual motion. Sometimes it's also who you play for, to get recognition.
For me, I reckon it's a slightly harder challenge being a central figure in a club like our's transformation over the last 5 years, than being another cog in an already exceptionally talented and largely successful club. Not to belittle, nor exaggerate either of the two's achievements; my argument is they deserved to be mentioned within the same bracket to an extent that some do not give credit for.
