Re: David Silva appreciation thread
The need to try a justify that preference on this thread is where the problem lies. He's that entrenched in his view that he must sit watching the game hoping Silva misplaces a pass or doesn't score a worldie. It must surely stop his enjoyment of the game as 9 times out of 10 the man is brilliant.
Nah, I'm 37 and loved Gio as well. In no way does that have any bearing on watching Silva right now. Like I said, having a personal preference is all about opinions and I'd never have a go at someone for that alone.de niro said:jimharri said:Spot on. He doesn't like/rate Silva. Fine. He's entitled to his deluded opinion. Not sure why he feels the need to express it on a thread with the thread title that this one has. He is wumming though Bill; he knows how people on here feel about Silva, yet he deliberately comes on here to say something he knows will get posters' backs up.Pablo1 said:You can hold the opinion (albeit wrong) that kinky was better than Silva, it's the fact that he feels the need to come out with snide comments every time somebody rightly posts on here to praise him. If he doesn't enjoy the genius that is Silva he doesn't enjoy football.
step back a moment jim. look at his age, a lot younger than us. when gio was here he was at his most impressionable football wise. that is some baptism. bell and silva ARE the best players city have had....but that's in our timeline. other will say joe hayes, peter Doherty and the list goes on. All that said there are players yet to arrive that who knows may just eclipse what even us old fuckers have seen.
jack though is a strange one and he wont mind me saying. you lot just foe him and all will be well.
