He's obviously had issues with his ankles for sometime to varying degrees and had played under some duress in the past.
Like Kun , VK and others with a history of injuries we won't move forward and take the premiership by the scruff of the neck if the players we have available in their absence are not committed, don't have the work rate and mental edge to instil fear and nervousness in the opposition.
There are not many sides in the premiership that are too concerned about coming to COMS and they know if they press us and are organised they have every chance of beating us.
In their remaining time at the club we know they will be out for spells due to injury and in some cases long spells and the reality is we need to bring players through that can handle the riggers of the game better injury wise and are suitable long term replacements both in quality and mental strength.
As many have said we lack leadership through out the side and are very fragile during games at times no matter who we are up against.
Part of that comes from management and unless we address it properly we will unfortunately have too many of these results for our liking.
You really hope that this current crop of players are hurting badly today and ensure that kind of rubbish we dished out will never happen again but given that most have them have tasted some domestic success and probably know they won't go beyond the last 16 in Europe they are not hurting nearly as much as the ardent supporter today.
Not trying to excuse the performance or anything today but when you are without arguably your five best players; aguero, silva, kompany, otamendi and dinho, any team in the world will struggle. Now I know aguero and dinho played half the game each but you get my point.
