Silva is my favourite City player. Like Aguero he is not 100% match fit yet.
When they are, I am confident it will make a huge difference. An opposition team will be completely destroyed sometime soon.

When Dave has a few quiet games it is aww diddums...when yaya has a the same he is slaughtered...Dave is a good player... a world beater? never and im not sure if he ever has been... my namesake was a totally different player, now if you would have mentioned my occupation as opposed to namesake you may well have someone similar...who btw would have eaten dave for breakfast, dinner, tea and supper in the modern day game.
David Silva is in my opinion the finest player I've ever seen play for Man City, above Yaya and Aguero let alone Kinkladze.
In fact he is probably the finest player I've seen in the English league outside of Ronaldo.
He is an exceptionally gifted talent.
Each to his own dammo mate but to say hes the finest withtranaldo aside is waaay off imo..when you have Zola and Bergkamp into that, even Carlito you have to go some to beat them...and Gio? in the modern day he would have chewed dave up and played keepy up with the remains am afraid...btw, i like Dave and in noway said otherwise, i just think he is given a status that far outweighs reality..Top top footballer yes, but the best? NEVER.

They're different players to be fair. Silva isn't as direct but unlike the others that you have mentioned, he absolutely and completely runs games. His passing is unsurpassed in the league, his first touch is utterly ridiculous and physics defying on occasion. He must be a nightmare to defend against because it's very very rare you find another player within 3 yards of Silva due to how good he is at finding space, even in today's game where there's far less space than even 5 years ago. His greatest ability in my view is not just to find that space but if he's facing our goal with the ball coming to him, 5 seconds later he's facing the opposition goal with the ball in a yard of space and often a midfielder or defender confused as to where he's gone.
Much of the problem with him is that he's used as the guy who assists the assist rather than the more noticeable last touch or goalscorer, but I don't think this diminishes him in any way. I wouldn't swap him for a single player in the entire league and would rather sell Aguero.
